Visited in April 2025. A very colorful place, a must-visit for all visitors to Bukhara!!! The most beautiful robes, sweets and delicious strawberries are already in April. Not to visit here, not to feel the real spirit of Bukhara.

This market is located within walking distance from the Ark Fortress. The usual market is like in all cities. Food and goods for daily living. There is a pavilion with goods that are interesting to tourists: halva of different flavors, dried fruits, spices, teas.

The market as a whole is interesting, clean and abundant. But it's very expensive, for tourists of course, Maybe someone knows how to bargain and discount the price, I probably don't. For example, in the nuts and dried fruits section, the price of 100 grams of mountain almonds in the shell is 45,000 local currency (this is almost 3,000 rubles per kg for a minute), dried apricots with walnuts 15,000 per 100 grams, dried apples with sugar 28,000 grams. You try to bargain, they don't lower the price, but out of the goodness of their hearts they can throw a couple of things as a gift. Then, after a while, when you start to navigate the prices of Bukhara, you realize that you have been cruelly divorced. My advice is to go to the market with a cool head. All these sweets can be bought in Russia, at prices lower than in this market. We bought dried fruits at a shop in the center, opposite the halva products. They have a lot of customers, they are guided by local guides.

It 's not worth spending time on it at all , products and things are randomly scattered , not of the best quality , unsanitary conditions, and prices are too high . There is no local flavor to compare with the Tashkent market .

The market is small, there are things, but the assortment is meager, although silk scarves are much cheaper than in sightseeing places. There is a large market for sweets, you can change money there, there is a vegetable row and fruits. But this market, of course, is much poorer than the market in Tashkent. If you are thinking about buying souvenirs and gifts, it is better to take them in Tashkent. There's not much choice.

This place is a must-visit. Everything is there! Bargaining is not just appropriate, but even mandatory. Sweets for every taste, fruits, vegetables. And, yes, the pilaf at the bazaar is very tasty.

Delicious food, kaymak delight, Korean snacks, fresh herbs, tortillas. There are no such bazaars with homemade products in my city in Russia. But comparing with the assortment and quality of products in the 80s in Uzbekistan, I can say that your tomatoes are also gmo, they don't taste good, and I dreamed so much of coming to eat real vegetables and fruits. Technology has reached you, too. Very sorry. But I repeat, bazaars are mandatory in Uzbekistan, I recommend it to everyone, milk, greens, awesome figs, they cannot be compared with the "plastic" ones sold in our fancy shopping malls.

The market in Bukhara is something indescribable. Fruits, nuts, dried fruits, sweets, pastries. The choice of everything is simply huge. The cleanliness of the market is pleasantly surprising.

For a European, the place is very authentic and colorful. The dominance of Chinese goods in the clothing market is frustrating. However, there are also Uzbek goods. The food market is wonderful. There is a huge selection of vegetables, fruits, dairy products, meat and even fish. There are historical sites nearby.

In general, there is a normal market (clothing and grocery in one place), the territory is large, you need to navigate. Sellers offer to try, haggling a bit. The choice is large. On the downside: there are a lot of obsessive gypsy beggars who brazenly reach into their pockets.

The bazaar is simply wonderful! There is always a large selection of products, and the freshest greens, vegetables and fruits are especially pleasing – fragrant, juicy and as if fresh from the garden. The prices are pleasant, the sellers are polite and always ready to help with the choice. Shopping here is a pleasure! 🌿🍅

It's a great market. Lots of fresh fruits and vegetables. There is a large selection of nuts and sweets. I especially liked figs. We took it every day for a few kilograms. If you come in after lunch, closer to three o'clock, you can buy everything almost twice as cheap.

The Oriental bazaar in all its glory. Plenty of fruits and vegetables! The best bones in the gym in all of Uzbekistan! Delicious parvarda (national sweets of Bukhara) and, of course, Chakka (suzma is a fermented milk product)

My favorite market is in Bukhara (and in Uzbekistan), it's quiet, calm, no one grabs hands, the sellers are not intrusive, they always treat you to tea and offer their goods, but without pressure The flaky tortillas here are the most delicious!

I will join you in making the market happy. Relatively clean, polite, unobtrusive sellers. They consult. If you ask hard, they can sell it for rubles (the exchange rate is 130 as for money changers). They give us tea and treat us with goods. I took sweets, spices and jewelry (there are departments, though few, but conditionally not expensive: a bracelet for 50 tons.sum) Overall, I was satisfied with the visit.

It is large in territory with a huge variety of goods. I bought dried and fresh fruits. The sellers are polite, they treat you to tea and offer to taste their goods, but a huge disadvantage is that tourists are given obviously high prices, so you need to bargain and walk around the rows. I have visited the Republic of Uzbekistan many times, and I have concluded that prices for dried fruits in the Russian Federation are lower, although the product is the same. It makes sense to buy only fresh fruits - they are more ripe, therefore tastier and cheaper than in Russia.

The bazaar is huge! Have everything you want! Dried fruits, vegetables, oriental sweets, fresh fruits and berries! Everything is delicious and fresh! Merchants let you try everything, while I was choosing sweets and dried fruits, I ate from the belly, they pour tea for free! Purely welcome! Advice go hungry))) otherwise you will move))) and yet, always bargain, you will not bargain at you then they will be offended, the price of what they call for you immediately drops by 40 percent, this will be the real price. An amazing place with its own atmosphere. There is no imposition, everything is cultural and within the bounds of decency! I recommend it!

So beautiful and delicious! It is necessary to have a certain psychological stability in order not to buy up everything that is necessary and unnecessary))) and knowledge of the nuances of communication with sellers ! The guide's recommendation is to break the price in half at once. But with a certain skill - 3 times Carl! And stand your ground))) Everything is more expensive in the indoor area , but the service is more civil , and the same thing is much cheaper nearby on the street . Here you can also change rubles at a good exchange rate, not immediately, but after haggling))) The market, however! ))) but to be honest , this circus is really encouraging .

Yes, the prices for fresh fruits are very low. But inside, the spice and candied fruit vendors are very smart, they'll talk, they'll give you tea, and they'll offer prices four times more expensive. It seems like it's not convenient to leave, but they call the price tag a horse. You haven't decided yet, and they're already putting it in a bag. It's not pleasant. Be careful.

Its own atmosphere. A city within a city. The Vatican of Commerce)) There is nothing like this in Tashkent or Samarkand. I returned to the 90s))) when everything was on sale in the market)) clothing, shoes, electronics, products. The market is incredible in size for a small town, with a lot of people, like sprats in a jar. In the absence of online trading as such, this is the only alternative to purchase the necessary items. It's worth a visit to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of Oriental trade))

Bukhara has a great market, prices are cheaper than in Samarkand, because the market is primarily for locals (it is located far from tourist locations). There is a huge selection of kozinaks made from various nuts, I advise you to buy them with a spare, because they could not find them in Samarkand later.

We visited the grocery market in November 2025. We wanted to buy dried fruits. They gave us tea and gave us a taste of each product. The necessary products were brought up and then the most interesting thing began) the price was set for 5 kg of dried fruits at 11,000rubles. They tried to deceive and blabber for a long time. Feel free to divide the price by three, or even more. As a result, we bought a lot of things at the Tashkent market at a good price. We really regretted shopping in Bukhara, even taking into account the price reduction by 3 times, it was expensive.

In general, this bazaar is well built, but there are shops and stalls, you can't walk on the street, carts go straight at people, people trade where they want, there is a lot of dirt, meat is sold in non-compliance with regulations, chicken refrigerators are open, poorly served, merchants cheat, scales show, everyone has Dirt in different ways Everywhere, there's a stink in some places.Sanitation is negative, sellers, many are rude, products are open, dust and dirt are flying right on them, tea bags are open, the confectionery is in the same condition. The bazaar was under construction, but the administrative work was at zero
