Grenby Park is located on the northern outskirts of the city. It was the home of the smartest of Carl Linnaeus' daughters, Sarah Stina and her husband. (Linnaeus was a principled opponent of women's education, but he failed to defeat his daughter's interest in botany.) The place where Sarah Stina's house stood is marked with black pillars. Adjacent to the park from the north is a huge shopping complex, the largest in Uppsala.
