On Christmas Day, with no advance reservations, all the restaurants in the city center were busy. By chance, when we entered this restaurant, we were surprised that the restaurant was completely empty, and pleasant music from the 90s was playing inside. We asked the waiter if everyone's favorite potato pancakes were on the menu. The waiter replied in the affirmative and offered a couple of recipes for this delicious dish, and while they were preparing, we were offered to drink a local frothy drink. Our company of 6 people ordered each a portion of draniki and a glass of foam drink. After 15-20 minutes, the waiter came up to us and, with a smile on her face, informed us that they would not have any draniki today. Since we came to Belarus for this particular dish, we were naturally very disappointed by this situation. The restaurant administration refused to be unfair to its visitors.
