Very disappointing and misleading experience at Papparoti Dubai. The menu shows one price for the bun, and the staff initially confirms this price. Only after ordering do you find out that every topping and sprinkle is charged separately and costs the same as the bun itself. When we questioned the bill, the staff claimed that this information is “mentioned in the menu.” If it is, it is done through unclear footnotes or fine print that is absolutely not obvious or understandable to customers. This is not transparency — this is misleading pricing. As a result, the final bill was much higher than expected, and we felt deceived rather than welcomed. In a place like Dubai, customers should not have to decode hidden notes to understand how much they are going to pay. Pricing should be clear, upfront, and honestly explained by the staff before the order is placed. Unfortunately, that was not the case here.
