Doha classics that don't let you down with their level We spent 7 nights in this legendary hotel and I want to share my detailed impressions. Overall impressions: Sheraton Grand is a real institution in Doha. His famous pyramid is visible from afar. Despite its venerable age, the hotel is kept in excellent condition and offers the very "grand class" of service. Territory and beach: This is the main advantage! A huge, well-maintained territory with palm groves, lawns and fountains. It creates a complete sense of an oasis in the city center. Its own clean beach with sand and sun loungers, the entrance to the water is gentle. It offers some of the best views of the West Bay panorama. The beach service is excellent. Pool: Simply magnificent. A huge lagoon pool with heating (which is important in winter), there is a lot of greenery and secluded corners around. The pool staff is very attentive. Number: We lived in a room with a view of the bay. The view, of course, is incomparable, especially at sunset. The room is spacious, the furniture is classic, a bit "retro", but everything is in excellent working condition. The bed is very comfortable. The bathroom is clean, with good water pressure. Meals: Breakfast and dinner are excellent — a huge selection of everything from fresh pastries and fruits to Asian soups, Japanese treats and Russian dishes (we still remember herring under a salmon coat) Location: On the Corniche embankment itself. Ideal for morning and evening runs and walks. The airport and the metro station are about 15-20 minutes away by taxi. There is a shopping center nearby. What you should know: The hotel is very large, conferences are often held here, but there is always a quiet area for vacationers. Bottom line: If you are looking for a hotel in Doha with a real resort atmosphere, a large swimming pool and an excellent location, the Sheraton Grand will be an excellent choice. We will definitely come back.

The hotel is gorgeous. I liked everything. There's nothing to complain about. However, there is one minor disadvantage: there is no place to dry swimsuits. Otherwise, there are only advantages. They will always help, explain where everything is, how to get there, and call a taxi. There is good internet throughout the hotel. Welcome dessert upon check-in. The room has everything you need. Very good cosmetics: shampoo, hair conditioner, shower gel, body balm. There are toothbrushes and toothpaste, as well as a shaving machine, slippers and bathrobes. All this is constantly updated and changing. Another great, powerful hair dryer. They don't save on bottled water, as they do everywhere else. Every day, 10 bottles of 0.5 liters are placed in the room. There is also a kettle with a set of tea bags and a coffee machine with capsules and cream. The room has a refrigerator, iron, ironing board and a safe. The closet has a backlight and a very large number of hangers for every taste. The beach is located on the territory of the hotel. And for the first time I saw that there were always a lot of free sun beds on the beach, choose any one. Sun beds with soft mattresses. On the beach, they give out 2 large towels and an ice container containing 4 bottles of water. The hotel is very green. There are flowers, lawns, palm trees everywhere. Speakers are built-in throughout the area, from which quiet music pours. The hotel itself has live music, harp or piano playing. The food in the restaurant is delicious and varied for every taste. Seafood Day, lobster Day, and National Cuisine Day are held once a week. Surprisingly, borscht, buckwheat with beef stroganoff, herring under a fur coat (red fish instead of herring), olivier (Russian salad), dumplings are prepared. Fresh celery juices with green apple, carrot, orange and other juices are served every day. 4 types of ice cream. Of course, there's a lot more to write, but I think that's enough. It's probably clear that the hotel is decent, and if you visit it, you definitely won't be disappointed.
