Doha classics that don't let you down with their level We spent 7 nights in this legendary hotel and I want to share my detailed impressions. Overall impressions: Sheraton Grand is a real institution in Doha. His famous pyramid is visible from afar. Despite its venerable age, the hotel is kept in excellent condition and offers the very "grand class" of service. Territory and beach: This is the main advantage! A huge, well-maintained territory with palm groves, lawns and fountains. It creates a complete sense of an oasis in the city center. Its own clean beach with sand and sun loungers, the entrance to the water is gentle. It offers some of the best views of the West Bay panorama. The beach service is excellent. Pool: Simply magnificent. A huge lagoon pool with heating (which is important in winter), there is a lot of greenery and secluded corners around. The pool staff is very attentive. Number: We lived in a room with a view of the bay. The view, of course, is incomparable, especially at sunset. The room is spacious, the furniture is classic, a bit "retro", but everything is in excellent working condition. The bed is very comfortable. The bathroom is clean, with good water pressure. Meals: Breakfast and dinner are excellent — a huge selection of everything from fresh pastries and fruits to Asian soups, Japanese treats and Russian dishes (we still remember herring under a salmon coat) Location: On the Corniche embankment itself. Ideal for morning and evening runs and walks. The airport and the metro station are about 15-20 minutes away by taxi. There is a shopping center nearby. What you should know: The hotel is very large, conferences are often held here, but there is always a quiet area for vacationers. Bottom line: If you are looking for a hotel in Doha with a real resort atmosphere, a large swimming pool and an excellent location, the Sheraton Grand will be an excellent choice. We will definitely come back.

The hotel is gorgeous. I liked everything. There's nothing to complain about. However, there is one minor disadvantage: there is no place to dry swimsuits. Otherwise, there are only advantages. They will always help, explain where everything is, how to get there, and call a taxi. There is good internet throughout the hotel. Welcome dessert upon check-in. The room has everything you need. Very good cosmetics: shampoo, hair conditioner, shower gel, body balm. There are toothbrushes and toothpaste, as well as a shaving machine, slippers and bathrobes. All this is constantly updated and changing. Another great, powerful hair dryer. They don't save on bottled water, as they do everywhere else. Every day, 10 bottles of 0.5 liters are placed in the room. There is also a kettle with a set of tea bags and a coffee machine with capsules and cream. The room has a refrigerator, iron, ironing board and a safe. The closet has a backlight and a very large number of hangers for every taste. The beach is located on the territory of the hotel. And for the first time I saw that there were always a lot of free sun beds on the beach, choose any one. Sun beds with soft mattresses. On the beach, they give out 2 large towels and an ice container containing 4 bottles of water. The hotel is very green. There are flowers, lawns, palm trees everywhere. Speakers are built-in throughout the area, from which quiet music pours. The hotel itself has live music, harp or piano playing. The food in the restaurant is delicious and varied for every taste. Seafood Day, lobster Day, and National Cuisine Day are held once a week. Surprisingly, borscht, buckwheat with beef stroganoff, herring under a fur coat (red fish instead of herring), olivier (Russian salad), dumplings are prepared. Fresh celery juices with green apple, carrot, orange and other juices are served every day. 4 types of ice cream. Of course, there's a lot more to write, but I think that's enough. It's probably clear that the hotel is decent, and if you visit it, you definitely won't be disappointed.

I found the hotel absolutely by accident. We flew to Doha for the first time, so we chose a hotel with its own beach. I trusted the positive reviews and did not regret the unique historical building, which was improved to the highest level after renovation. Spacious rooms and a bathroom, snow-white linen and towels, daily high-quality cleaning. The territory was pleasing to the eye. The beach area and near the pools are 10 out of 10, ice water in a mini cooler bag. Unlimited towels and deposits, lots of sun beds. Clear sea with sandy beach. Everything you need for relaxation. Children are not allowed in the Jacuzzi - it's just a thrill. No one jumps on your head. The staff is as friendly as possible, they help and tell us. We were accommodated in a room with one bed, but in the morning of the same day the problem was solved and we moved to a room with a sea view. The flexibility of the solution was amazing. The breakfast was perfect for our taste. The restaurant staff is top class! We recommend it from the bottom of our hearts.

Thank her so much for that! The hotel has its own sandy beach, outdoor pool and children's pool. The sea "closes" at sunset, and the pool at 8 o'clock. In the gym, you can set a workout program on the simulators. It's a pleasure to stroll around the hotel. It's small, but very green. We needed an extra bed in the room, and they put it along the balcony. But that's where the air conditioner was blowing. Therefore, I recommend that you immediately ask to put the bed along the wall perpendicular to the balcony glass. However, for this you will need to rearrange the furniture a little. The view of the city is more interesting than the view of the sea. We ate at the Al Hubara restaurant. The interesting ones were Seafood day and Lobster day with a wonderful selection of seafood and oysters. You could order grilled fish, seafood soup or pasta. There are 4 types of ice cream.

We had a rest from December 30 to January 13, 2026. The overall impression of the hotel is 5. Well-trained staff, well-groomed territory, quite a variety of food, a sandy beach, a large heated swimming pool, many interesting places of the city are within walking distance, friendly Russian-speaking staff (I would especially like to thank the Asel manager). Minor flaws, such as a broken TV, were fixed quickly. Now about the "shadow side" of the holiday, which is mostly unrelated to the hotel. 14 days in Qatar is a lot, well, a lot. January and February are the worst months for rest: frequent winds, only 4 of the 14 "kupable" days, the rest are for the amateur. New Year's Eve in Qatar is not a holiday, and although the Hotel staff tried their best, in my opinion, it is better to celebrate NG at home. Our vacation was connected by certain dates; for future visitors to Qatar, the advice is to adjust your trip to the season, not the season to the trip!

It is convenient to get to the north - Katara, Lusail, Pearl, and to the south too - Suk Waqif, museums. The Village Mall (which is still more impressive than the City Center) can be reached by metro, and a taxi took 24 rials. - the Deluxe room is clean, well cleaned, the water is replenished, there is a coffee machine, coffee capsules and cream. The issue of a crib for a 4-year-old child was also resolved, but this is clearly an area of attention during preparation (we booked it initially, in fact we brought a crib for a baby, we had to resort to diplomacy to replace it at no extra charge). - fitness is cool, lots of exercise equipment, free weights, tracks, exercise bikes and ellipses. Tennis, squash, padel tennis - everything is there - nice pool and beach, considering that on Fri Saturday there are a lot of people arriving from outside for a fee, everything was busy. But on Monday, there were 10-15 people in the entire territory before lunch. Bottom line - I definitely recommend it, it's a very high-quality top five. Don't take rooms 100-109, they look out on the city, but rather on the roof with all sorts of units, the view is not optimal. But with the balcony closed, you can't hear the noise.

In principle, everything is wonderful - and the excellent location in the center is close to the metro and Doha City Mall, and its own considerable territory with a good beach, pool, park, tennis courts and fitness center, service, food. Daily cleaning and linen change. I don't know who didn't have enough variety in their diet: if you pay a little more attention, the hot stuff was updated daily - beef, chicken, meatballs; oriental cuisine - Thai or Indian. People have already eaten too much. I didn't notice anything tired. The weak point of any hotel is the bathroom. In this case, everything is clean, no traces of rust, mold. The porcelain stoneware is so tightly fitted to each other that the seams are barely noticeable and nothing superfluous starts in them. The staff is extremely polite and willing to please. The only problem is smoking by the pool and hordes of ill-mannered Arab children.

We had a rest with my husband from June 10 to June 17, 2025 in this magnificent hotel! Wonderful 7 nights, like in a fairy tale! The room is large, beautiful, and perfectly clean. The bed and pillows are like on a cloud, so comfortable! They greeted us as dear and beloved relatives: they decorated the room on the occasion of the honeymoon with balloons, flowers, fruits and a delicious cake from a local pastry shop! There are all kinds of teas in the room, even decaf tea, capsule coffee machine- 2-3 types of coffee, also caffeine-free. A minibar is available for a fee. Very good quality cosmetics, everything is thought out to the smallest detail to feel at home, as comfortable as possible. We had breakfast and dinner, which was more than enough. Breakfast is from 7 to 11 and dinner is also very convenient - you do not need to wake up early and you can stay late in the evening for a walk. About the range of dishes and the quality of the food, you can say in one word-delight! Meat-lamb in all kinds, beef, chicken, rabbit- everything is sooo delicious. Fish, seafood, daily sushi rolls, fresh tuna, shrimps of all sizes and cooking options, mussels, oysters, lobsters! Fresh juices, teas, coffee, everything is included in the menu. The waiter service is fast and always with a smile. I would like to mention the work of the waiter Melissa, this lovely girl not only served us well, but also took beautiful photos of us when my phone charger went dead. The managers of Amina and Asel always helped us in everything, they were interested in how we were feeling, whether something needed to be done for us. Many thanks to them for this! The territory and the beach of the hotel are beyond praise-great! The sea is gorgeous, warm, clean, very salty, with almost no waves, because there is a lagoon. The sun beds are soft, comfortable, and the service is excellent! Isma and Tiyan have created very comfortable conditions for us on the beach! I would also like to mention the manager at the reception, Mohammed. He is a Russian speaker, which is very nice. Many thanks for his care, professionalism and kindness. He helped us many times, prompted us, organized everything for us at our request. Many thanks to Mrs. Amine, she extended our room for free until 18.00 due to flight delays. In general, my husband and I made one conclusion: we really want to return to Sheraton more than once and to Qatar as a whole! A wonderful, beautiful country and kind, hospitable people! We stayed at the Sheraton from 02/23.25 to 2.03.25. Check-in was quick, and we helped carry our suitcases to the room. The room is luxurious with a view of the bay and a balcony. The breakfasts from 6.00 to 10.00 are excellent, the dinner from 19.00 to 23.00 is expensive. There were Russian-speaking girls at the reception, you can contact them for any questions. In the lobby you can drink Arabic coffee with dates for free, in the evenings the girl played the piano and the harp. We take the elevator down to floor D and go out onto the beach. There are paddles and umbrellas on the beach. Two towels and a box of cold water are provided. There is a warm pool and Jacuzzi. There are no changing rooms as such, but you can change in the shower. There is a cafe near the pool, you can order a cocktail right by the pool. The location of the hotel is good, close to the Corniche embankment. The Doha City Center is a 15-minute walk away for currency exchange and grocery shopping. I really liked the hotel as a whole.

It's just great! We often stay in hotels of this chain, but Doha has exceeded our expectations! To make it clearer, I compare it with the Sheraton in Sharjah (although it's wonderful in Sharjah). Sheraton Doha is one of the oldest hotels in Qatar, but they keep the brand. A chic, well-thought-out territory, a magnificent beach, fast access to the sea, no shoals, protected from storms by breakwaters, pills, bananas, scooters do not travel through the brain (they have their own pier (also hotel), there is a swimming pool, Jacuzzi, Playground. The hotel is located in West Bay, as for me a great place, everything is nearby, and the shopping center and the promenade and the park. There is a beach, a private little nook, which is missing from most hotels in Doha, is generally not bad. I did not try additional services, because, for example, the spa does not look particularly attractive, and other restaurants and bars were not particularly interested.
