I've always admired this place. You can immediately imagine what it looked like before: 70 meters high, double dome, columns. It is a pity that they are not allowed into the main mosque now, in 2014 I was inside. It's true that the ceiling was already collapsing there, and even more so now. But it's still worth a visit, a very beautiful complex, especially in the rays of the setting sun. And the legend is romantic that Timur's beloved wife built this complex for her husband's return.
