Do not go here. They charge 35000 for entry. There is no ticket given or price displayed. There is nothing to see inside. Avoid this tourist scam.

A small mausoleum where Bibi Khanum herself rests (if you go inside, you will see 3 burials). The viewing is short-lived , the cost is 40 sum .Inside, the woman offers her tour : a story for 5’ you will not learn anything new -the cost is 85 soums, more expensive than the entrance, in my opinion, you can do without reading everything beforehand on the Internet.According to the words , this is a sacred place where you can make a wish .I didn 't like that there was an intrusive trade inside .

The monumental building is also sacred to believers.
But unfortunately for some people, it's pure commerce: inside, by hook or by crook, they tried to importunately sell the services of a guide, a headscarf for a woman (although it's OPTIONAL there) and a headdress for a boy.
You can't do that in a place like this.

A beautiful place, very refined and well-groomed.
Pay attention to your clothes, as a lot of the local population visits.
In addition, there are beautiful views of the city.

The place is beautiful.
The obsession and aggressiveness of working women simply spoils the whole impression - 2 minutes of a story is definitely not worth the money that is being asked for a "guided tour". They do not allow you to go down to the burial without buying a headscarf (if you have your own). Hospitality is negated by such a desire to make money on everything.

Bibi Khanum made an indelible impression ❤
I recommend taking an excursion on the territory of the complex, the guide lovingly tells the story, it is very interesting and detailed.

It is very beautiful especially in the evening. There is one big disadvantage of electric cars that prevent pedestrians from walking down the street. Yes, they help to get to Registan, but some of them do not drive properly. After all, this is our city of Samarkand, guests and residents of our city would like peace and quiet in the hot summer, especially in the evening

It's worth a look, but the cost is very high, as well as dear Uzbek authorities, you and people in your country are engaged in tourist fraud, at the entrance to a particular museum or monument of architecture, residents and workers sell tickets past the ticket office, deceiving tourists, and most importantly, that the police guarding the perimeter, They do exactly the same thing , shame and shame

The mausoleum is located on the opposite side of the snowstorm across the street. BibiHanym itself rests here and the place is significant for pilgrims. The entrance to the mausoleum is 40,000 soums. The woman inside offers her services as a guide, the cost is 85,000 soums. He won't say anything new. But inside, the building was completely restored. The vaults and murals were restored🌹

It's a very atmospheric place. I recommend everyone who visits Samarkand to visit. Beautiful photos can be taken in the yard, especially on a sunny day. Take a closer look at the upper parts of the madrasah towers, the wind carried the seeds of plants there and they sprouted. Combine a walk with a visit to the bazaar that is located nearby and your day will be full of impressions, communication and delicious purchases. Don't forget, it's a must to bargain!

The mausoleum of Bibi Khanum opposite the mosque of the same name is the only one of the entire temple complex preserved in its original form. It was an annex to a madrasah destroyed by time. The mausoleum served as a tomb for the representatives of the Timurid dynasty. When the destruction was dismantled after the earthquake of 1875, marble sarcophagi were found, and in them were the remains of two women in rich robes. According to legend, Bibi Khanum's mother is buried there. And the second one, perhaps, was Sarai Mulk Khanum herself – Timur's eldest and beloved wife. Plus her nieces and her maidservants.
Ivory stalactites were used in the decoration of the rather modest building (against the background of the portal and the mosque), topped with a luxurious bright blue dome, and inside the walls are decorated with floral ornaments.
The atmosphere is intimate, there are few visitors, and it will take very little time to inspect. Entrance to the mausoleum is paid: for locals - 5000 soums, for foreigners – 25-30 thousand soums. Decide for yourself whether it is worth going down to the crypt for this money to see the covered sarcophagi

The cost at the moment is 40,000 soums per person (tourist). If there is an importance in this attraction, then it is worth it, if not, then there is nothing to see there.
I dropped it by two stars because of the divorce. At first, we paid before entering, before we could enter, a woman called us and began to talk about this place for about a minute, said that for the tour she had just conducted, each person charged 40,000. Moreover, we are not the only ones who got into this. Divorce is flourishing within these walls. I hope my review will help someone not to get caught up in this

The greatest attraction and cultural heritage inherited from the depths of history for our Motherland. This place is shrouded in many romantic legends and true stories, which will certainly be revealed when YOU touch the stone stand for the Koran, the guide will tell you everything. You can feel it only when you are on the spot. Thanks!

Bibi Khanum, Tamerlane's beloved wife, is a legendary woman, of course, and her mausoleum was probably cool once.
This is definitely not the brightest building in Samarkand right now!
But! Her ashes rest inside (in the basement).
However, a visit costs, albeit small (in my opinion, 20,000 soums), money, and if you want a guide, then more ...
In general, it's up to you.

An excellent historical place, however, when paying for the entrance to the mausoleum and walking a few steps, we were met by a guide who said that until we purchase an excursion from her, we will not go further. As we wrote below, the tour was reduced to a two-minute story from Wikipedia, it was worth 40 thousand for the two of us, if I'm not mistaken.

The craftsmen have perfectly restored such a stunning architectural monument.
Admission: 25,000 soums, 50000 excursion. The tour is for nothing, it consists of 2 minutes of retelling. But without paying the guide, they are not allowed into the tomb. Therefore, I rate it low.
If someone reads this from the manual, take action.

The mausoleum of Tamerlane's third and most beloved wife, Bibi Khanum, restored from the ruins. You can go down to the basement and look at the sarcophagi of BH, her nieces and her favorite maids. Sarcophagi are covered with cloth, so you will not be able to enjoy the skill of stone carvers.
I do not advise you to take a tour, since they will not be able to tell you anything sensible, but they will ask for 50,000 soums (perhaps we were just unlucky with the guide living at the mausoleum).
It is better to read the story of this great woman yourself, you will get more pleasure.
For general development, I recommend going in.
Entrance is also paid.

Very intrusive sellers at the checkout, did not give change, so they took the tour that they had to take it just to get rid of it!
A holy place (although not worth the money - 25,000), but because of such a terribly intrusive service, the whole impression spoils! We literally ran away from souvenirs!
