The area itself is average, there are a lot of Indians and Pakistanis, but this did not bother us, no one will bother you while walking around Sharjah, because this is the UAE and the country itself is safe. The central market is 3 km from the hotel. There are a lot of inexpensive cafes around the hotel, you can eat everywhere, because the quality in this country is very strict.

Nice hotel, friendly staff, excellent breakfasts. Wi-Fi works well, even on the highest floors. There are a lot of shops and good cafes near the hotel. You can walk to the steam trains and the market in 15 minutes. The only disadvantage is that a free shuttle service is provided only to the paid beach, the cost of a single visit to which is 25 AED. You can walk to the free beach on foot, but in 30 minutes. But since this beach was being renovated during our stay in Sharjah and 70% of it looked like a squalid construction site, we took a taxi to a great outdoor beach next to the Grand Sharjah Hotel. For just 15 AED.
