A UNESCO World Heritage Cultural Site. Episodes of the film White Sun of the Desert were filmed here. Here you can see: The Citadel of Erk-Kala, the Fortress of Giz-Gala, you can see the ruins of Buddhist and Christian temples, the mausoleum of Sanjara. Of course, few people come here on excursions, but many do not go for history, but to a place of power.

I was there. I highly recommend setting aside a whole day and taking a guide with transport. Then you can explore the surroundings. The best thing to do is fly in from Assahabad in the morning and fly back in the evening, it's better than driving a car.
