I was in these hotels before the travel bans and now. In principle, as everything was wonderful, delicious and fun for Egypt, it has remained so. A water park has appeared, you can roll in plenty with younger schoolchildren. It should be understood that the service in Egypt is different even from the service in Turkey. But if you treat with a proper sense of humor and tip a dollar as an advance, and not for something (the scheme of the Germans), then smiles and good service are provided. The animation is sooo meager: there is a lot in the schedule, but in fact during the day on the beach of darz and when the balls are thrown (I don't remember the name of the game), during the day in the pool of aqua aerobics and everything from sports. Volleyball is on the schedule, but there has never been anyone (including the animator). There is a gymnast in the morning, but the animators are so reluctant to call her that no one comes... The outdoor pool runs the entire length of the hotel. Cool. At the beginning of May, however, it was cool, but... As it is. It was not heated - a fact. But when it's warm outside, then it's normal to put it in cold water 👌
There is always a Russian-speaking employee at the reception. Bartenders are not too rude to Russians - if you and some British or Germans come up, they won't even look at you. He will serve them, chat... Until you call out. In general, too, if you don't bother with it, then it's passable. Well, he reminded me of himself - he will finish and take his time and serve you. You won't stay without a drink
Donuts were made at high tea, ice cream was given 2 hours a day (not just delicious, one taste (milk, white)), but edible. It was fun anyway- the kids liked it.
Internet (wifi) is available throughout the hotel, but it catches "not very much" - you can't watch much video...
The rooms are not bad. We had a little old furniture and the third set of everything (towels, blanket, balcony chair, etc.) was waiting for several days. Preferably through a hotel guide.
There is a safe in the room, free of charge. However, our local "friend" blocked it while trying to show how it works... And since the safe could only be repaired in our presence, and we wanted to walk, not sit and wait, we just scored.
They cleaned every day. Once they even made swans out of towels and sprinkled pastel petals, but we didn't leave tips, so after that it was just cleaning.
Food could be taken out of the dining room - no one looked much.
Air conditioning, refrigerator, hair dryer in the room - everything was there. By the way, there is also a kettle with instant coffee, sugar, dry cream and tea bags. We didn't use it. But it was)
There is only bottled water in the mini-bar. They replenished it every day.
The hotel grounds themselves are clean.
Overall, the hotel is good. I am ready to recommend and go there again.
And all the comments, by and large, are mere trifles and in the dry rest the rest was super. However, we spent most of our time on excursions and did not spend much time at the hotel itself.
By the way, there seemed to be a fitness room and a spa (spa for an additional fee, of course). And in the evenings, other vacationers said, there were discos for our hotel in an indoor room somewhere. Free of charge. But we didn't get there. Maybe like anywhere else.
Another thing I noticed: there are sooo many things for an additional fee: cocktails are carried along the pools and along the beach, watermelons.. In the evening, boiled corn, popcorn and cotton candy are "distributed", and then a check is shoved in... It was a little annoying: you never know when and for what you will have to pay (staying at the All-inclusive hotel - which is strange). There are three restaurants on site. And one of them is suddenly paid (sort of)..
This is probably the only thing that really bothered me: I always had to ask "free?" first about almost everything.

The food is excellent, varied, delicious, seafood every other day (shrimp, crabs, fish), there is a children's menu, ice cream by the pool, the rooms are old, but clean and cozy. The sea is transparent, access from the pontoon and from the beach (only in slippers), there are heated and non-heated pools, the staff is friendly and responsive. Doctors walk along the beach, inquire about their health, animators are weak, went to the neighboring Aladdin (where the guys work at 120%), cheerful, Russian-speaking. A wonderful water park. The weather was windy at that time, the temperature was 24 degrees, the sea was 20 degrees, the Russians were swimming. They managed to burn and tan . I didn't want to leave, we will definitely return to this hotel.

The territory of the hotel is large, very beautiful, a large clean beach, a heated swimming pool, a water park was open every day. Restaurants, bars, snack bars- everything worked perfectly, the food was varied, delicious, and what could not be important was always hot, the staff was friendly, always with a smile, they always came up and asked and brought drinks to the table. Do not believe when they write that Russians are treated badly, I always say that as you treat people, so do they treat you. We had a rest in January 24 with a child of 6 years old, there was plenty of food (chicken, beef, mutton, fish), 2 times Ala cards shrimp crabs, etc. In addition to 3 restaurants, there was a grill on the street.
Alcohol is normal, cocktails are good, there is a place to relax, there were concerts in the lobby every evening, there was a children's room where you could leave a child. The temperature was 18-20, a couple of times under 28 degrees celsius, it even turned out to swim in the sea a couple of times. The water park with slides is excellent, it is quite possible for both adults and children to ride.
The rooms were normal, cleaned every other day, which was quite enough. Wi-Fi is normal, it catches perfectly in the lobby, in the rooms at a minimum. There are free safes in the rooms, do not forget to close them, everything that is open or lying in plain sight can evaporate. Pool 1 is heated, central, in winter everyone hangs out there.
We took entertainment such as yachting, diving on coral reefs, the view is certainly gorgeous, it's worth seeing at least once in your life, we went to the pyramids, your guide will be 3 times more expensive, it's better to take it through the locals (but you also need to price it), or through travel24. We had a rest with my sister from 03/11/14-03/18.24. We did NOT like the hotel, from the word at all.
The food is monotonous, the animation is boring, the staff is unfriendly. Most people look at you with contempt. The only plus is cleanliness. It is also possible to go to the beach of the neighboring hotel (Aladdin). They have a sandy beach. Ali Baba has an entrance to the sea with rocks.
Of the entire huge pool, the water is warm only in a small area. The rest of the water is icy. And all the guests are huddled in one place. A la carte is quite a disaster. I attach a photo of the dish that was brought for 10 people for the whole dinner…
In general, I do NOT recommend the Ali Baba hotel

Everything is great, except for entering the sea, there are rocks and they are sharp, there is no way without special shoes. Super that Wi-Fi is free throughout the hotel, even on the beach. Ala cards are not very good, but in the main restaurants everything is very tasty and there is always a lot of everything. There is a hookah bar on site for $9. There are few shops and they are hidden, so it's not intrusive. The lobby is very large, everyone gives sweet cotton wool to children, fruit ice and sweets for a fee. Alcohol is quite acceptable. The rooms are ordinary, but not broken. Everything is OK. There are almost no Russian channels, as well as Bellarussian and Ukrainian ones. The hotel is German-oriented.

Good day everyone! We visited the Ali Baba Palace 4* hotel in mid-December 2023. We rested 10 n. 2b.+ 1 reb in a deluxe room. The room was booked immediately from the tour operator with a difference of 10 thousand rubles for the entire vacation. I would recommend taking this particular category of rooms, everything is cool! (5632 was ours) . We arrived early in the morning, immediately gave out bracelets and sent us for breakfast, then walked around the territory for 1.5 hours and we were settled. There were questions about the cleanliness and filling of the room, they were resolved quickly enough. There are bathrobes , slippers were given, they said they were not there. New plumbing, furniture , air conditioning , refrigerator (noisy) , large TV, dishes and mini bar are great just for 4* . (bed linen in spools).
I'm not thrilled with nutrition, in our time of arrival it was quite monotonous and there was very little choice. But! there are ala-kart restaurants and that's yummy in Italian))) I didn't really like the beach because of the large crowd of guests and everything was somehow not restaurant-like. Again, this is not a 5* hotel, for its own * everything is more than worthy. The last NG was also celebrated in Egypt, in Charm at the Naama Bay Promenade 5* hotel, it's just a "paragraph" in one word! There is no limit to the greed of the owner there, and it is practically in everything. In Ali Baba, it is clear that they do not save money on guests and, as far as possible, try to make our vacation better.
I liked the area, it is very clean and green. Again, if you are tired of Ali Baba, you can go to Aladdin and Jasmine ( there are monkeys there). We walked around the hotel every day for 20,000 steps)))
The beach! Just a cannon bomb!!! The beach itself at our hotel is beautiful))) Straw fluffy umbrellas and a cool bar with swings,,, sooo cool! But here is the entry into the sea with rocks. We spent most of our time on the beach of the now closed Jasmine hotel, there is older equipment, but the entrance to the sea and the sand are awesome, it is shallow and very pleasant, like flour. There is a bar with drinks on this beach, there is a beach boy who helps bring mattresses and deck chairs, the public toilets are perfectly clean and tidy! Many thanks to the staff for their hard work!
I remember the Egyptian fair from the animation, it was cool! And there was also a foam party in the pool, at the restaurant on the beach (ala-kart in the evening) there was a show with Tanuro skirts and belly dancing.
Another point when choosing this hotel was its location. A 15-20 minute walk at a leisurely pace there is a large shopping center Senzo Mall. There are well-known fast food outlets, a supermarket (payment in pounds), there are also clothing and shoe stores, and there is also a state pharmacy. I didn't understand the rave reviews about her, there are often no necessary drugs, the prices are fixed, but not the cheapest! I went there with my list of medicines and vitamins I needed, more than half were missing, and the replacement was offered much more expensive. The way out was found))) an order from an online pharmacy and everything was brought straight to the hotel. They bought souvenirs and sweets at the supermarket, as well as mangoes and strawberries (in December the price was about 70 pounds).
To summarize my review and our vacation:
I recommend this hotel to visit. We did not save on the room category and did not regret it at all, our tour cost 138t. In general, if you do not pay attention to the little things and still understand that you are going to a 4* hotel , then you will definitely succeed!!!

I visited this hotel for the third time this year, but this year, unlike previous visits, everything was as they say online without contacting travel agencies, the voucher for staying at the hotel was issued online, the transfer, including the plane and taxi, was also online, since the trip was planned, then purchases they were made at a time when the currency was falling against the ruble, and since the voucher was paid in euros, and the taxi and plane in rubles, I managed to save at least 30 or even 40 thousand rubles. I liked the rest, especially since my daughter, granddaughter and son-in-law, who live in Germany, had a rest on the same days, so everything is okay. They say that if the voucher is issued directly at the hotel at the right time, it will be even cheaper.
