A remarkable monument of both architecture and engineering. It was a pretty and highly sought-after building at the time. It wasn't until I was writing the review that I realized that this water tower wasn't the first one in my home photo archive. I think I'll share it.

One of the water towers. North. It was built in 1890 under the Russian Empire. It is richly decorated with architectural elements: pilasters, scapulars, croutons, lucars, cornices and belts. It is divided into 4 tiers. Initially, it performed its direct role: inside there was a frame with pipes for supplying water to the tank. There are artists' workshops here now. It is marked on the maps as Basia, but in fact no one knows for sure which one is Kasia and which is Basia.

Creative workshops. Decorate beautifully and take weekend excursions. Then it will just be "WOW." Artists and sculptors work inside, and the outside is a shabby building, although it has historical value.
