I've been wanting to visit the Gandofly Seafood Restaurant for a long time, given all the hype, the large number of reviews on Google Maps, and my love of seafood. Unfortunately, the impressions were disappointing. The staff barely spoke English, and even when I pointed directly at the selected dish on the menu, the order was misunderstood. I wanted mussels with stuffing, but somehow I got regular mussels. And these mussels were... questionable. According to my "seashell scale" it turned out like this: 1 – Mussels with real mussels inside, 2 – Open shell without mussel, 3 – Closed shell. Surprisingly, almost half of the order ended up in categories 2 or 3. When I asked to open the closed shells, I got the impression that I was the first person who had ever made such a request here. The seafood sandwich, which I also tried, was just average—edible, but nothing memorable. To be honest, I don't understand where this place gets so many rave reviews.
