So to speak, the works of local craftsmen from different countries. For example, I am still under the impression that once in Venice I looked into the open door of the workshop where the master made masks. Delight! It was as if she had touched some secret. And at the Global Village I saw.. Underpants, underwear, abayas, leather, fur coats. And almost the same thing in every pavilion. I didn't come here to be grabbed by the hands in almost every pavilion and to be sprayed with something by obsessive female sellers. Especially I had to escape from the pavilion of Africa, where they just throw themselves at my feet... And so I wanted exotic!) There are birdhouses with food of the national type - there are no tables. They look very fast - there is no desire to eat something. In short, this is some kind of very intrusive bazaar. If I had known in advance what was going on here, I wouldn't have gone. It's good that people over 60-and admission is free. Mom was glad.

I don't understand why there are so many positive reviews. Yes, it's beautiful, but hardly anyone can be surprised by this. In essence, it is a huge market for shawls, Arabic perfumes and Chinese souvenirs. "To plunge into the culture of different countries" will not work, because the range of goods in all pavilions is almost the same (yes, even in Russia). You can only plunge into the culture of the oriental bazaar, but this has long been enough for me in all sorts of Turkey and Egypt. There are a lot of eateries, but there are no tables. You will have to eat on the bench. There are very few Europeans in the Global village, the target audience is local, who collect whole carts of these scarves. You can visit this place if you have already looked at everything else in Dubai.

The ticket can be purchased both on the website and from the guide at the hotel. A place for a long walk. It opens in the afternoon . We got from Miracle garden by Yandex taxi in 10 minutes and about 1300 rubles (I also have a review about MG , read it ) We stayed here for 4 hours, which was enough for a first impression, but we didn't see everything quickly. I want to say right away that the entrance here is for the female sex ONLY with their knees and shoulders covered. But not far from the entrance there is a counter selling shawls and trousers. A kilometer before the main entrance, there is a bicycle parking lot, which costs 15 dirhams/person. you will be taken to the entrance (about 10 minutes on foot). It's really a global village. It is a large area with numerous branches - entrances to "countries" where you can find various souvenirs and goods of this country. There is a pavilion at the entrance where you can buy a souvenir passport and, upon entering the zone of any "country", independently stamp it with an arrival stamp ( free of charge ) . Throughout the entire GV, there are outlets with food from different countries and drinks. There's music and performances everywhere, everything is glowing beautifully, and the mood is great. There's also some kind of show program on stage. There are toilets . It's great and interesting, the time flew by unnoticeably
