An interesting place, beautifully decorated, everything is illuminated in the evening, only there is no scheme and therefore you can skip any pavilion. The fair itself is not interesting, goods that are not produced in this country can be sold in different countries, prices are greatly inflated. The Russian pavilion was disappointed, Russian-speaking sellers - Kazakhs and Kyrgyz, representing not Russian goods at all, gzhel and ceramics, matryoshkas and Russian cosmetics were presented from ours. There are performances on the main stage and in some pavilions, in general the atmosphere is friendly, everyone is friendly, the sellers are a little intrusive. There are many cafes around where you can taste and appreciate the national cuisine of different countries. It's worth visiting this place once.

The first impression is very pleasant, everything is beautiful, it glows, the eyes run away. The touts invite you to try everything, they smile and impose... Cherkizon reminds me)) In fact, it is a large market with local and Chinese goods. I liked the Turkish and African parts, they are at least a little authentic and fun, the rest are not impressed. There is a small lunopark with attractions for both kids and adults, prices are different, acceptable, but you can minimally replenish the card for 150 dirhams (like) and pay for the rides with it, you will not be able to buy a ticket for 1 attraction. You can watch the show on the big stage, the children will like it, they repeat every 20-30 minutes. In the evening it gets colder in the desert, it is better to wear closed shoes and take a warm jacket with you, especially if you are traveling from November to March. I definitely wouldn't have gone there a second time.

We were in November! The center is closed in summer due to the heat. I am absolutely delighted! Sooooo beautiful. You can enjoy delicious dishes from different cuisines of the world. It is better to arrive at the opening at 16, so that later you can see the night center. It's super beautiful!

The idea is great! To gather representatives of manufacturers from different countries and peoples in one place and give an opportunity in this noisy , bright, sometimes naive place to find partners, join the cuisine, the atmosphere of the countries represented . Super! It is impossible to get around everything in one evening (they open at 16:00 and work until 23:00).
If you arrive by car, I recommend driving past their expensive 120 aed paid parking lots, leave the car at a nearby shopping center and have fun riding an electric bicycle rickshaw to the entrance))

Everything is cool done in terms of architecture + bomb lighting in the evening. But in fact it is a huge fair with goods (the price tag is too high). The Russian pavilion turned out to be the most abandoned - it was sad to enter it. But the others... African, Qatar, etc. are very atmospheric, just mini bazaars of those countries.

The place is very interesting. But there are a few things that spoiled the experience. First of all, why are the same goods in different pavilions? For example, we buy a bag in the pavilion of country X, where they assure us that this is an exclusive handmade work of the masters of this region. However, then we see this product in almost every other pavilion. And, of course, we feel cheated.
Further. After spending several hours walking around the market, we realized not only that everything is equally Chinese everywhere. It's all just the same. And... the same size!!! ONE SIZE. In particular, I wanted to buy pajamas, a bathrobe, a sweater or a wool suit. Yes, it was not there!!! I went to one place - the size is the same for everyone. It's the same in the other tent. But the most interesting thing is that most sellers DO NOT ALLOW MEASURING products! We are not talking about underwear, but about sweaters and outerwear. As a result, we are extremely disappointed with shopping in this place. The only pavilion with really cool colorful products is Africa. So I recommend visiting, just for fun.

We had a free evening, went on the recommendation of the guide, spent 150 dirhams for a taxi there and back, 50 for admission and 200 for food, well, that kind of thing...

There are special devices for accepting plastic bottles (one such stands next to the toilet at the panic room), they are given bonus checks for which you can ride on children's rides for free (you need to find out which ones, it seems only rides for kids). There is a schedule for ofits.a website with shows and performances, in the park itself, a schedule in electronic form next to each stage.

If you do not pay attention to the perfumes, rags and Chinese glitter jewelry that repeat in each country, then it is quite possible to find something very authentic and special in each pavilion. In the evening, songs and dances of the peoples of the world at different venues, you can sit down to drink tea and coffee, and before that, eat. Of course, the prices are too high, but that's what a tourist place is for. The whole "World Village" is strongly shifted to the east and this has its own charm!

There are goods from all over the world. I didn't like it, just that people who are not related to this culture are trading in the national pavilions. For example, there were Filipino Malay saleswomen in the Russian pavilion. It's worth a visit. Taste the national cuisine.

Global Village Dubai (World Village) is a grand fair that takes place from November to April.
According to the idea, each participating country erects its own pavilion on the territory, which should acquaint the visitor with the way of life and cultural traditions of its people, demonstrate and offer ethnic attributes, outfits, goods and souvenirs. The number of pavilions has exceeded 27 today, and the number of participating countries is 75, in every corner of which folk music is played, traditional cuisine is prepared and cultural events are held. There is a children's playground and attractions on site. The entrance fee is 25 derham. Opening hours are from 16:00 to 24:00 (on weekdays). It was a little disappointing that there are many Chinese-made goods in the Russian pavilion that are not related to Russian culture.

People arrive in the late afternoon, arrange picnics on the grass- blankets, baskets with food, relax, listen to music. We went only because it was combined with a visit to the Flower Garden. The idea was cool-to make a large walking area and a "world fair". But the impression was that the idea was not finalized. We really liked the zone itself - a beautiful space, colorful pavilions, a lot of cafes (we were in Chinese - very tasty and the guys work very nice!), there are places to relax, toilets. The fair itself is not interesting. I was counting on authentic goods (for example, I was waiting for high-quality cotton in the pavilion of Egypt), national sweets right there, musicians in the end, in terms of cultural exchange. In fact, it seems that they were selling souvenirs made in the basement. The Russian zone was generally shameful! Some tattered fur coats, Georgian lemonade and Uzbek plates. I do not know, at least pancakes with red fish would be baked! Or Yakut diamonds would be sold! Or they found blondes in kokoshniks!!! In the America pavilion, there was generally some kind of illiquid in the form of T-shirts. Liked the pavilion of Persia (Iran)-there were interesting things at least in some order, we bought home a beautiful wooden box for thread buttons. Who pleased - the Turks!!! I love them! They were the only ones who created the mood - they sold baklava, dondurma, squeezed juices and spoke Russian, bought a good body scrub from them. And, perhaps, the girls from the Bosnian restaurant distinguished themselves - very beautiful, in national costumes, everyone wanted to take pictures with them. In principle, for a one-time visit, there is nothing much to do there, but there are a lot of people, including local ones, you can bargain - I don't know how and then conceded. And there is also a good exchange rate in the exchangers, almost a bank rate, better than a hotel rate.

We went to one at the beginning, applied to men's ordinary socks, 800 rubles for rubles, went further. Near the canals, boats sell a lot of food, mostly all Asian. We shouldn't have been in a hurry to eat. Expensive and tasteless. Ice cream 700 rubles per serving. I liked the watermelon, the taste of watermelon and chocolate seeds. To the left behind the pavilions there are more channels with food spoons, there are much fewer people there. The neighbors liked the Bosnia and Herzegovina pavilion, there was very tasty meat in the cafe. The pavilion of Russia is squalor, some Chinese, and a few nesting dolls, even Afghanistan is more interesting. There are also music shows from different countries, many of our group hung out there. The child liked the Broadway musical. There are a lot of people everywhere, crowds.

everyone knows this place, it's easy to find and get not far from the center of Dubai. Parking is huge, free. Inside, it's like I've fallen into another dimension, unlike anything in the world!!! Grand Bazaar, Hyper - Fair, Global Village, with attractions and houses, where every country wants to stand out from the rest of the pavilions! A must-see place for everyone, tourists and locals alike!!! There is peace and harmony here - the one that should be on the planet, on which one could walk around the globe so easily, to visit each other!
