The ashes of Napoleon, France's number one hero, are in the Invalides Cathedral in Paris. In a quartzite coffin in the center of a circular hall. Statues are arranged in a circle on two levels. The sight is by no means scary, but fascinating and solemn.

It is a very beautiful and interesting place. There is a guide in Russian, spent the whole day there. History lovers will find a place.
