05/16/2025 I celebrated my birthday at Ce La Vi restaurant. The restaurant is located on the 54th floor of the Address Sky View Hotel, Downtown Dubai. Ce La Vi is wonderful in all its manifestations - a cozy atmosphere, panoramic windows offer magnificent views of Dubai and its calling card Burj Khalifa, the food is worthy of all praise. It was very comfortable to be there. The restaurant staff is very friendly. We were served by a Russian-speaking waiter. A wonderful young man who recommended us some great dishes. Thanks to the chef for the magnificent dishes. Now Ce La Vi is one of my favorite places. ️

Staff very nice and friendly. Atmosphere stunning views, but restaurant needs a facelift, visible fading and cracks on wall, the red velvet chair on famous swing is faded, waiting time can be improved , meal itself was exceptionally good.

Ce La Vi is an Asian-Mediterranean restaurant with 1 Michelin star. 54th floor of the Address Sky View Hotel. The view is beautiful, it's cold on the terrace in March, there are no sets. More precisely, there is, but, as it turned out, you need to book in advance. It's strange and unexpected for me, for such establishments... The whole thrill of haute cuisine restaurants is in sets of 7-10 small original dishes, carefully selected by the chef and complementing each other according to taste notes and sensations. The A La Carte food is quite OK, the tartare is delicious, the scallops are also fine, the Pinot Noir is normal, the usual, as in Moscow time 2-3k bottle, only here 2800 glass. In general, 15 k for the fact that you can eat with great pleasure in my Fish for 7, and not with one glass of wine - definitely not the second time. The location is "on the rich" and you definitely don't expect plates with chipped edges here... but

There are a lot of people on the dance floor, like herrings in a jar ;); high-quality modern music. To get to the bar, look for an entrance with a separate elevator and one button to the 53rd floor. One star for the beautiful view. We went to this restaurant several times because we lived in the Address sky hotel, and we actually booked the hotel because they promised a Michelin-starred restaurant on the 54th floor. I haven't felt such disappointment in my life for a long time.🙈 I tried about 10 dishes and appetizers and salads and hot dishes, and I didn't like any of them. It was just that the disgusting octopus with terrible spices looked like rubber, the waiters weren't even surprised when they took away the untouched dish, I think the Michelin star should be picked up and the chef sent to top Moscow restaurants for training. I do not recommend it!!! If you really want photos, you can come to a cocktail party, although I didn't like cocktails either.

I booked while in Russia, about a little less than a month before the visit. I chose Saturday, a table on the terrace, from 20 to 22 pm (local time). I was worried about the reservation, because there was no valid foreign card. The reservation was confirmed without any problems, and a second confirmation letter was sent on the day of the visit to the restaurant. The location is great: in the evening we watched the Burj Khalifa, dancing fountains and illuminated buildings around. A wonderful setting for a pleasant dinner. If anyone is worried: it's not scary on the terrace, there is no sharp "cliff", you are not sitting on the edge) The staff is smiling, pleasant, and will understand you in any case. The food is delicious. You should not expect "unusual" dishes or new combinations, but this turned out to be only a plus for us. Without alcohol for dinner, you should expect somewhere 30-35 thousand for two on average. We had up to 30 for an appetizer, two salads, two hot ones, dessert and 4 drinks. It was more than enough for us. You can familiarize yourself with their menu on the website in advance. Look at the weather: it can be stuffy on the terrace, and since there is a smoking area, it's a little heavy. But it didn't spoil the impression. The music is modern, not too loud, and did not interfere with communication. If you celebrate a Birthday there, then keep in mind that there will be no discounts or "gift" dishes. You can choose a dessert for yourself, and your name will be written on it and presented with a candle) There is a dress code, but not so strict. The place is definitely worth a visit. Ce La Vi will allow you to fully enjoy the evening with a great view and delicious food.

They were kicked out to the photo sites, although everyone goes there for this... The food and service are so-so. I tried to make the food not spicy, but it was made very spicy anyway. Also, the waitress comes up and opens the bottle without warning, thereby scaring us with a loud sound. The area with swings and red flowers is available only to those who are sitting in the second hall on deposit, even those who are sitting on the veranda are not allowed to take pictures... Of the advantages, only the view and the background against which it is very difficult to take a picture because of the evil guard. Change the guards, he's ruining your status.

Unfortunately, apart from the beautiful view, nothing impressed. It's not clear where so many Michelin stars come from.We came for lunch. As a result, there was not a single dish that I would like to go back for (especially the octopus, which was sprinkled with some spices that apparently burned and gave a terrible bitterness, half of it was burnt due to uneven roasting). Even the toilet was not very pleasant to be in (toilet paper was lying on the floor because the trash was overflowing). I've been to Michelin restaurants before, so there's something to compare it with. Even Moscow's White Rabbit is a million times grander, even though it has only one star. ⭐️ You can come to eat, but the price tag and the status of the restaurant are not justified, in my opinion.

We went to brunch with 2 adults and 2 children. A nice Russian-speaking girl met us. She explained everything to us, told us, and showed us. We made reservations for the next day. The next day, we were also warmly welcomed by the same girl. We were given a table on the open veranda with a beautiful view. But they also told us that if it gets hot, we can go to the gym. A separate story with a hookah: the price on the menu is 580 dirhams, we order, we say that the price is 980, we answer that the menu is a different price, bends down and whispers what we will do for you)) What a cheap divorce! So it would be fine if he did a good one - it's impossible to smoke, they asked for 5-6, they did for 2-3, we ask them to make it stronger, he puts 3 coals and it starts to burn. After 30 minutes of this "smoking", I decided to redo it - the same thing. Why can't you find a good hookah maker for a restaurant of this level??? So they also impose tips.... Conclusion: the restaurant does not match its rating - I highly recommend it! PS: it's funny when the appliances are placed directly on the table, without a napkin)) huge soup spoons were brought for dessert)) How do such establishments get Michelin stars???
