We completed a 10-day intensive stuttering correction with a 6-year-old child The main thing we got is a system for working with speech. Now we have a specific algorithm: what to do at the moment of difficulty, how to prevent the build-up of tension, what exercises our child needs, and what is worth working on additionally. We have mastered the techniques of breathing, relaxing, slowing down speech, working with difficult sounds and much more. But the most important thing to understand is that intensive training is a knowledge base and practice, and everyone decides for themselves whether to continue working with it or not.
