The best thing is they charge only 500 Tenge for the luggage storage for 24 hours. this is great for solo travelers like myself.

The new station building is under reconstruction, I can't even remember how many times in the last 26 years, but at least for the 3rd time for sure. As for the old train station, there is very little space, metal chairs are placed everywhere, but there are no tables for them. It's very cold in the building itself. Of the two entrance groups, only one is open, the second one simply does not open for an unknown reason, which is very inconvenient since people have to jostle when entering and exiting the building.
