Good afternoon, everyone! I am currently staying at this hotel, I have arrived for 14 days. I arrived at 11⁰⁰ and after 20 minutes we were checked into the room!!! Room 1529 Deluxe with sea view on the 5th floor, clean, almost like new, without scratches, with a large, very comfortable bed and a huge TV. The sound insulation is excellent, you can't hear the neighbors at all! The impression of the hotel is the best! The food is above all praise, varied, lots of meat, seafood, on Friday they grilled salmon steaks, squid, shrimp and many other fish, sweets, fruits by the pool. Pizza and pasta are prepared with you, a huge selection of pastries, fruits and juices. The waiters are on top, they don't ask for tips, they bring drinks quickly! This is the first time I've seen tiles washed with mops on the street! There are enough sun beds for everyone, the beach is clean and well-groomed, it helps to move the sun beds and barriers from the wind, the mattresses on the sun beds are practically new, the sea is clean. The animation is not intrusive, stretching, water aerobics, beach and water volleyball are available throughout the day, and a show program is just right for an 18+ hotel in the evening. At the reception, the Russian-speaking staff, especially Milena and the animator girls from Russia, tell and prompt everything. Due to the lack of children, complete relaxation and enjoyment of rest. I have been vacationing in Asia for five years, I have visited hotels of various classes from HILTON to simple 3-star hotels, but I have not seen such service and attention to guests. Cool hotel!Everything is perfect here! The area is very clean, constantly being cleaned. The room has a great air conditioner. They put 2 beds together, so it turned out to be one huge one. There's a bottle of Coke, sprite, 4 bottles of water, and 2 beers in the fridge. They update every day what has ended. The room has a hairdryer, shampoo, shower gel, hand cream, soap in boxes, cotton pads and sticks, 2 hair conditioners and 2 lotions. Smoking is allowed everywhere on the premises. Restaurants are open almost constantly, so you definitely won't stay hungry. There is a lot of food and it is varied and very tasty. They give me ice cream at lunch. There are several huge swimming pools on the territory, almost the entire length of the hotel. The sea is right here, as soon as the pools are over, the beach begins. There are changing booths. On the beach you can play beach volleyball, tennis, ping pong. There are enough sun beds for everyone. Waiters are always coming, bringing cocktails. Alcohol is good, they don't spare it. The beach is sandy, the entrance to the sea is smooth, the water is clear. When we went on an excursion, we ordered lunch boxes with us, they cooked for us without any problems. There is an ATM on site where you can change money. In general, everything is very cool!👍🏻

A wonderful hotel! The biggest "+" is the absence of children: there are no screams, psychos, abnormal "I'm sorry, I'm a father." According to the description: We visited for the first time in December 2024 and decided that we would definitely visit in the summer. Excellent staff, excellent swimming pool, by the way, heated in winter to a temperature of +28 degrees along with a Jacuzzi. Good food. The beach is small, but oddly enough, there is plenty of room for everyone. The second time was in September 2025. Everything was great, the variety in food is not the same as in winter, but this is not a problem. We settled in both winter and summer upon arrival, we didn't have to wait. The room is always clean, great greetings and many thanks to our staff. Any requests and wishes are instantly responded to and fulfilled. We also visited the spa. Good manicure and pedicure. In general, we are very satisfied with the rest. We are planning our next trip to this hotel again.

I had a vacation with my mom in October 2025, I was just wildly delighted with the hotel! The service is excellent (cleaning is done daily, all the hotel staff speaks Russian, helps with any questions, everyone is super friendly and decent), excellent renovation (new, modern), the cuisine is diverse (three buffet restaurants and a la carte restaurants), a gorgeous sandy beach without a single trash can or pebble (clear, clean water, sandy bottom, very good entrance to the sea, no fish, corals, algae, etc.), an adequate contingent of vacationers (mostly families/ couples, everything is very calm and dignified), the only small disadvantage is the animation is limping and the orange juice is intermittent, but this is not critical. I would like to mention the following point separately: we arrived at 10 a.m., we were immediately sent for breakfast, after which we were immediately checked into a stunning room with access to the pool and the sea, located directly opposite the main restaurants, in general, the rest was perfect from start to finish. I recommend this hotel to everyone, even to picky people like me. 😁

We had a family vacation of 3 people from 4.10-12.10. We stayed at the Pickalbatros Blu Spa Resort from 12/27/2025 to 01/05/2026. The choice of the hotel was influenced by rave reviews, the date of its opening (as the hotel is relatively new) and the concept of 16+. It takes about 10-15 minutes to drive from Hurghada airport. I thought that such a distance from the airport would be uncomfortable, but this is not the case: you can't even hear the planes. Considering that our flight was postponed, we arrived at the hotel around eleven o'clock in the evening. The check-in was quick, about 10 minutes. 1. The territory of the hotel is small, without any dense vegetation, so those who like to walk around the hotel are not here. You can, of course, stroll through the neighboring hotel, but it's not big either. 2. The hotel itself is clean, the staff tries to please everyone, and the room service is good. 3. The hotel is made with the letter "P", so some of the rooms that start with the number 10 always fall on the sunny side, and some of the rooms with the number 11 are in the shade. This has its pros and cons, just keep this in mind when checking in, who needs what. 4. In winter, there are two heated pools: one outside, the other in the spa. 5. The beach is clean, but due to the constant ebb and flow, mud sometimes appears. Honestly, I haven't seen it cleaned in the morning or evening. The sun beds deserve special respect: wide wooden ones with a mattress and pillows. Waiters walk along the beach from about 10 a.m. and take orders for drinks (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic). 6. Considering that the beach and the nearby small vegetation in the form of bushes are not treated with special means, annoying flies fly on the beach, and they fly away only when it gets really hot in the sun. 7. Meals at the hotel for a solid three. Yes, you won't be hungry, but you shouldn't expect to have something delicious for breakfast or lunch either. The hotel doesn't even make scrambles for breakfast, but it does have delicious croissants and four types of sausages. There is not a large variety of meat dishes for lunch, sometimes they make shish kebab for lunch, sometimes shawarma, pasta is made all the time. Even hummus is served here only for dinner. Fruits are also ambiguous: in the mango and strawberry season, we didn't have mangoes at all, strawberries were only for dinner on 12/31/2025. Dinner is still more or less normal and relatively varied, including at the expense of rice, as there are as many as 4 types of it in each restaurant. 8. Breakfast and lunch were served at Alfredo Restaurant. In fact, this is an ordinary dining room, as in all hotels. Breakfast from 07:00 to 10:30, lunch from 12:30 to 15:30. The dinner was held in the Gulina restaurant on the second floor from 18:30 to 21:30. We preferred to go to Gulina restaurant for dinner: there you could find grilled shrimp and grilled fish. The fruits included apples, persimmons, plums, oranges, bananas, guava, grapefruit, and melon. I would also like to mention the decoration of the tables in the dining room.: It's an artificial flower in a vase.… Well, it's very romantic and presentable.… 9. Although the lobby bar is open around the clock, alcohol is not served from 12 a.m. There are no nuts or chips in the lobby bar. And alcohol was offered to adults only with cakes and buns, which were also in the lobby bar. Well, I'm sorry, it smells like a matinee at school. 10. Considering that our vacation fell on New Year's Eve, we had a festive "gala dinner", which included: a cocktail party, which was in the lobby of the hotel, dinner and a late-night show program: • We liked the cocktail party – it's freshly squeezed juices, alcoholic cocktails and various canapés. • Dinner was, as it should be, a good five. But they didn't tell anyone that there would be no food on the show program, except for the sweet table and fruits again. • A wellness area was set up at the entrance to the gala dinner, probably with champagne. But only the first visitors had enough of it, and the rest didn't matter. There was wine on the tables. Everything else: vodka, rum and other alcoholic cocktails were served by waiters. The number was given a type of holiday set consisting of two football pipes, one cap and some other disposable nonsense. I'm not even going to go into details about why there's one set for two, but ok… • The program itself was purely for amateurs and focused exclusively on Europeans in the 60+ age category. • There were no snacks on the tables. Not everyone had champagne. When asked to bring champagne, the waiter replied that it was over. Realizing that alcohol needed to be eaten with something, we went in the hope of finding a separate area where there were only sweets and fruits again. I once again plunged into the atmosphere of a school matinee in the 9th grade, when you snack on alcohol with a sweet cake or an apple. In short, we celebrated the New Year and were already in the room at 00:30. And, by the way, we weren't the only ones like that, although we paid some money for it. • We signed up for an A la carte restaurant at the reception once. When recording, you need to choose a salad (one for two) and a main course. We chose a steak. The atmosphere of the restaurant is unusual: elements of the East, Europe and ancient Egypt in one room. But when the Caesar salad was brought to us, my wife and I were just a little perplexed: lettuce leaves, sauce separately, two shrimp and two oriental-style pancakes with chicken. The parmesan was not served, cherry tomatoes — why? The second course was not a steak, but something like a chop, but not bad. Dessert is probably delicious too, but we didn't wait for it. Since the plates were taken away from the second course, and for twenty minutes not a single waiter approached either us or a couple of Germans at the next table. So: - The hotel saves on everything: on food, on alcohol, on cocktails, even on sweet water, because everything is poured into glasses with an approximate volume of 250-300 milliliters, no more, and this is taking into account the addition of ice. The Pina colada I drank at this hotel is the tastiest we've ever had. The mojito is passable. I won't talk about beer, vodka, rum and whiskey here, you know: local alcohol, which is poured from plastic bottles. The rooms are a little tired, and the hotel itself is already a little tired. The hotel staff tries their best, the waiters bring orders quickly, but maybe it was the tips we left that made themselves felt. The hotel lobby always had the most chemical lime smell, which constantly made my nose itch. The beach is nice, it's not windy in winter, the sun beds are comfortable, but the flies are annoying. The pools are clean, the water is not heavily chlorinated. The basic service is fast, even when the room was asked to change the kettle, which was leaking, it was changed instantly. Minibar: one packet of juice, a liter of Cola, a liter of sprite, two beers. Keep in mind that if you want to have a snack, then in fact it's only at the Alfredo restaurant, and that's what it was for lunch, since there's nothing at the beach bar except drinks and ice cream, which are served at a certain time, but there are buns and cakes in the lobby, of course. But the food can be safely taken out even on plates. I don't know if this is really a 5-star hotel for someone, but for us personally it's a stable 4 and there's no point in coming to it a second time, I sincerely don't understand why this hotel has such reviews

Let's get right to the point, do I recommend the hotel? Yes! The target audience of the hotel is young people and couples (there are many age groups), but this has become an advantage for us, since without children, the pools and the beach are quite quiet and peaceful, no one screams, sobs or splashes. It affected our impression of the holiday for the better. The hotel is located near the airport, but there are no planes at all. On one side of the hotel there is another Pickalbatros hotel, on the other side there is an abandoned building, but you can only see it when you sail away from the shore into the sea. So it didn't spoil the impression either. The hotel's territory is very stylish and minimalistic, everything is extremely neat and photogenic. The rooms are comfortable, clean, fairly fresh (since the hotel itself is relatively new), stylish showers, plenty of storage space, a Smart TV (you can connect your phone and watch whatever you want, we watched movies before going to bed). Cleaning is done every day, you can ask to bring an iron and a board, if necessary. The sound insulation is good, we haven't heard any neighbors. We really liked the food. I don't eat pork, so a Muslim country is an excellent choice for me in this regard. There is a large selection of hot dishes, mainly beef and chicken in their various forms, but as a rule you will always find something from seafood. For dinner, they cook something on the grill outside every day. We found shrimp (very tasty), red fish steaks, beef steaks, and everything is always very tasty. The staff is very friendly, the waiters work quickly (sometimes you even have to defend your half-eaten plate). We also liked the animation: the fire show, the water show, the dance shows - in general, there are many, many shows. The only thing that didn't go very far was some kind of bingo, in which we didn't even understand how to participate, and karaoke (people who don't always even know how to sing sing into the microphone throughout the hotel). We bought alcohol at the Russian Duty Free, having read unflattering reviews about Egyptian alcohol, but in fact everything turned out to be not so bad, even the wine from the bar turned out to be very "nutritious". The sea beach itself is well-groomed, but the sun beds, tables and ashtrays, which are most often used as trash, are cleaned slowly after the previous people. I didn't like it. In general, you will always find free sun beds, but it is not a fact that they will be clean and by the sea. It probably doesn't even make sense to talk about the sea itself, it's the warmest and cleanest. What else I REALLY liked: our flight to Russia was postponed for a total of 10 hours (they were supposed to take off at 17, but they postponed it to 3 a.m.), and our room was extended for another day for FREE, and we managed to eat, swim, and even sleep before departure. In general, we were delighted here.

The hotel is very nice, new, opened 2 years ago. The location is convenient, 5 minutes from the airport. There are no planes. The hotel has a European approach, all the staff are very friendly. The beach is very nice, the sun beds are protected from the wind, so on days when the wind is strong, it is more comfortable on the beach than by the pool. Access to the sea is easy, and there is also a pier from which you can go directly into the depths. The administrator, Dina, is Russian-speaking, a great fellow, very helpful in many matters, do not hesitate to approach her. And if you're going to come, please bring buckwheat and chocolate from Russia)) The staff understands Russian, but the hotel is mainly aimed at Europeans. It doesn't cause any discomfort, sometimes you want to take a break from the Russians. There are few of them here. The animation is calm and unobtrusive. There are evening programs and a disco. But we didn't go to it, as we chose this hotel exclusively for a relaxing stay. We had a late flight, and we managed to extend the room, for which I would like to thank Dina again. The room is very comfortable, there is everything you need. Big TV, there are Russian channels. Cleaning and replenishment of the minibar every day. The bar has cola, sprite, juices and beer. If desired, you can additionally order a hair conditioner, a toothbrush set with toothpaste and a brush. The only drawback is that sometimes the minibar is not fully replenished, but this can be solved through the administrator Dina. The food in all the restaurants at the hotel is very varied and delicious. Which was unexpected, since on previous trips to Egypt, I had a bad experience with food. Alcohol is the same as everywhere else in Egypt, with the exception of the lobby bar, where you can get premium alcohol. We are very satisfied with the rest, we recommend it!

The closest pool to the sea is the most active. The entire daytime and part of the evening animation takes place here. The music is often very loud there, both in the evening and at lunchtime. The entrances to the pools are in the form of comfortable steps with handrails. It is fashionable to find sun beds by the pool free until about 9.30. Then if you are lucky. There are no fish or coral from the word at all. More precisely, there is a cabin, but the most common one. There is a pier from where you can go down into the water with a normal depth. Animation The guys here are great. They're doing their best. Dance show and live music three times a week. There was a Foam party, a water show with an evening swim with Go Go, and a fire show. The animators try to communicate with all the tourists and not miss anyone. I would really like to mention Milena from Guest relation. I solved all the issues that arise during my vacation instantly. You can also sign up for the Alaska restaurant and the Neverland show. Well done, too, animator Tatiana. There's so much energy in her. She made us go to all kinds of movements and didn't let us stay in one place too long. As a result: we are wildly delighted with the hotel. We did not think that holidays in Egypt could be organized at such a level. As a wish to the hotel, it is necessary to slightly expand the bar menu for cocktails and alcohol. And music in the main restaurant for dinner wouldn't hurt either. As a recommendation to the guests, do not walk to the left of the hotel. The pools are large and there are many of them, they are clean, they don't stink of bleach, there is always some kind of activity on them (zumba, foam disco, etc.) There are a lot of sun beds on the beach and by the pools, but what is annoying on the beach is the local clingers with excursions/SPA, etc. WI-FI crashes periodically, but not for long (from tens of seconds to several minutes) The selection of cocktails is small, but delicious. Nightly animation until 22:30 and you can hear it everywhere (in any room with a closed balcony). The entrance to the sea is very smooth and clean. The staff speaks 3 languages - Russian, English and German. Room cleaning, updating of the bar and changing of towels - daily.

Plus or minus, you can decide for yourself, but the hotel is mostly 50+. There are almost no Russians, the main contingent is Germany, Poland, Lithuania, and the Czech Republic. For us, the animation was normal, as it were, but unobtrusive. In the evenings, the show (mostly songs and dances), often poorly singing people are put on stage. Wednesday is Day off. I won't say about the quality of alcohol, my husband only drank beer (which was either from a bottle or suddenly draught). Beer of the "go" category. We saw how the wine from the bags is bottled and then they are proudly poured into glasses - these are 5 stars)) 4. Staff: polite enough. On the downside: they take glasses and cups with their fingers, without observing basic etiquette and hygiene. They are lazy at the reception, they work only for money. As long as you pay for a quick check-in, they work. As soon as you want to enroll in a la carte, you are either told that you need to come tomorrow morning or even sent to an online appointment via the application. 5. Spa area: this is, of course, a separate conversation ... if you have any questions about the spa, then the reception will tell you that they have an indirect relationship to the hotel and only rent the premises. I don't know if this is true or not, but I highly recommend not to visit! Ala "gift certificate" for 30 minutes of sauna is perceived by the spa staff not as an opportunity to demonstrate their services and try to earn money on massages, but as a corvee. There are two abandoned buildings in the neighborhood. 5. Waiters do not know that cups and glasses are not served with all five, there are no basic concepts of etiquette and hygiene. 6. Dishes are poorly washed. There are dirty glasses, cups and cutlery in the canteens. In general, it's time to change all the dishes - they're all worn out, and the seams on the beer mugs are rough. 7. In the tea set in the room, Lipton tea without individual packaging also looks strange. Not that it's 5 stars, but it's unacceptable in principle - it's not hygienic. 8. No one will tell you about this upon check-in, but at the towel dispenser or at the beach boys, you can ask for a "do not disturb" sign so that you will not be bothered by all kinds of tour vendors and not only those who work on the beach. 9. The obligatory paid-for Neverland show is another attraction... at the entrance you will be presented with a synthetic national Arab hoodie with the words "this is a gift", but we still remember how much we were charged for this "gift"... then they drive you through the gate and do whatever you want... if you want, buy all sorts of things in the shopping corridor, if you want go to the end and manage to find a free place to enjoy a paid dinner. Yes, someone will sing and dance on stage, we were lucky - they even gave acrobats)) the food is like food - the hotel is the same and even better, with the condition that you can choose in the hotel, but not at the super show Neverland!) in general, I don't know who might like it... especially considering how much we paid for it without fail!
