If you are traveling from Dubai towards Fujairah, I recommend stopping by this place for an hour, a very interesting place, unusual mountains bordering the desert. There is a small museum that offers guided tours of the archaeological site, but tours must be booked in advance.

There used to be a place with beautiful sands where anyone could come. Now they have made a national park, where they are allowed only with an excursion, which costs a decent amount of money.

It's a beautiful museum, well worth a visit.
There are also animals and a national park nearby.

An hour's drive from Dubai. A small museum with ancient finds in the area, takes 10-15 minutes to complete. The main attraction is the grave of Mleikha, which can be viewed from above. There are paddocks with gazelles.
