An excellent restaurant with a wide selection of Oriental dishes. There is Uzbek pilaf, Uighur lagman, and Kazakh shurpa. I had dinner here a couple of times and was very satisfied. I will be in Astana for a couple of days - I will definitely come here for Beshbarmak - unfortunately, it is only pre-ordered. All the other lamb and horse meat dishes here are simply masterpieces. The waiters not only know the menu, but they can tell you about the dishes themselves and even advise you. In the sense of not selling leftovers from the kitchen that will soon spoil (unfortunately, I came across this), namely to help with the choice depending on the request. You never had to wait long for an order, and the waiters were always there when you needed them, and they didn't unnecessarily distract you. There is also very tasty Tashkent tea.

The atmosphere is calm, you can comfortably sit with family or friends. The menu is rich: pilaf, lagman, manti, samsa, kebabs, soups, salads. Manti and lagman are especially delicious — the dough is soft, the meat is juicy. The pilaf is classic and fragrant. There are fresh tandoor tortillas. The portions are large and satisfying.

Cafe Turfan is a landmark place for Astana and the guests of the capital. A lot of people go there. They used to queue up to get there. I recently visited the Turfan cafe and was left with mixed but generally positive impressions. I really liked the dishes – especially lagman and manti, everything is fresh and delicious. The portions are large enough, you definitely won't leave hungry. The atmosphere is cozy, the interior is oriental, there is a summer playground with a pleasant view.

Very tasty and authentic dishes, top-level service, stunning interior that adds flavor to the food. On two different visits, I took lagman, kuyrdak and Tashkent tea. It's a pity I didn't have time to try Uzbek pilaf, - there is no more left in the evening, so it's better to come for it in the middle of the day. If I'm still passing through Astana, I'll definitely stop by.

The kitchen used to be excellent, but now it's not tasty, as if the cook didn't give a damn about his job. We took Caesar salad for the first time, I ate such a delicious one, manta rays are tough, some veins, the lagman portion has decreased, vegetables and meat are just scanty. I ask the management of Turfan to pay attention and improve the service, because the location is just great and I want to have a delicious and satisfying meal after a walk along the Embankment!

My favorite cafe in Astana. He has only one drawback, it is impossible to leave without overeating. The menu is so diverse that it is impossible to stop at one or two dishes. Huge portions. If you order more than one dish, you risk overeating. Everything is very, very tasty. If you want to eat their magnificent pilaf, go in the morning. Otherwise, you won't get it. The interior is very beautiful and pleasant. Wonderful service. There is a beautiful place for walking nearby.

I'm just shocked!!! Today we visited our favorite Turfan. We haven't been there for three months. The first thing at the entrance was the smell of sewage in the whole cafe, the waitress said that they always had black, rubber, terribly salty tortillas. Tea as if we live in Africa for 6 people brought a small kettle, manta rays are no longer manta rays, but large dumplings. The dough on the lagman seemed to be carried from the other shore, it had already dried up. There were few people in the cafe, today is Ramadan, to say that the chefs do not have time!!! Why is everything so bad ??? And the prices have been raised!!! And the portions have been reduced, more salt so that we all die of thirst after your dishes. I regretted that I went to Turfan instead of fast food. I've been your guest for 15 years, and every year you don't grow up, but get lost in the crowd of eateries!!!
