I stayed in the standard room for a week when I was in Astana on business. Very nice price and convenient location. A taxi can take you anywhere in the city in 15-20 minutes. Within walking distance of PSCs, exchangers, banks, Republic street, restaurants. There is an exit from the hotel itself to the sandwich bar, where you can always have a snack. Although the room is "tired", it is clean enough. There are dishes, a kettle, a fridge and a TV. There is a microwave and a water cooler on the floor. A large bed with a hard but incredibly comfortable mattress and good linens. The girls at the reception will always prompt and help, for example, if you need to print something or put things in the laundry. In my case, it was the perfect place to stay. But if you go on vacation, especially with your family, then I would choose something higher class on the left bank, although the price tag will be appropriate - at least 2-3 times.
