I don't know what expectations you might have from a contemporary art gallery in a Persian Gulf country, but this is definitely an unprecedented experience! First of all, how cool it is that there is already a cool architecture of the last generation, which can be so well reinterpreted for a new purpose. It looks very stylish, especially surrounded by new graffiti - lively, cheerful! The yard is cool with Stella. Very photographable! Secondly, there are many interesting expositions and residences, with a good focus on local rather than imported cultural stories. That is, a living cultural layer, not glossy and imported at a high price. PS. pay attention to the truck in the yard: the flowers are exactly like from Zhostovo trays. And the same trend applies to old artifacts in the Museum of Islamic Art. So cool common roots, spread by trade caravans to different corners of the earth!
