A cozy bistro with a Balkan twist, located in the small shopping center Meyan Mall. The restaurant specializes in combining homely Balkan cuisine with a modern approach, focused on breakfasts and lunches. It is marked in the Michelin Guide as "Bib Gourmand" — decent quality, but not ultra-premium (2023, 2024, 2025). It is also recognized in the ranking of The World's 50 Best Restaurants – it ranks No. 26 in the MENA region. The signs at the entrance will inform you about all this. The restaurant itself is located on the second floor of the shopping center, with a terrace and views of the surrounding area (including the Burj Al Arab mosque), however, on the day of our visit, the windows were quite tightly sealed and this restaurant can be called a stretch. The interior is decorated in warm, calm colors, with an emphasis on comfort and home style. The atmosphere is very calm, not crowded. We took a branded pie with burek cheese - a lot, but incredibly tasty. The dough on top looks like it's caramelized and the pie looks more like sweet, but no: it's with a salty, stringy cheese. I don't want to know how many calories there are. It is better to take a portion for two - there are just two pieces. Homemade pita with strachella and beef jerky - 10/10. Turkish coffee is very tasty: for the first time it was brought to me both in a cup and in a Turk: a decent portion. The freshly squeezed orange juice was disappointing - obviously diluted. In general, it is more than a suitable place for a hearty breakfast: it is really delicious here. The service is very friendly. You can also buy all sorts of preparations like jams. I'm shooting a star for juice and dirty windows.
