Babur lived out his life, in general, not the longest, in Indian Agra, the padishah of the lands between the Indus and the Ganges. There he wrote his autobiography "Vakai" ("Events"), better known as "Baburname" ("Babu's book") - but the second name appeared only when translated into Persian, as the padishah wrote in his native Chagatai, that is, proto-Uzbek, and this book remained one of the peaks of Turkic-speaking prose.. He also wrote poetry, exchanging letters and thoughts with Alisher Navoi. I do not exclude that he was even secretly grateful to Sheibani for his defeats in Turkestan, which turned into power over India, and in any case, Babur and the Sheibanids were already allies in the late 1520s. The Tiger King died of illness in 1530, but bequeathed to be buried not in Agra, but in Kabul - this city was his residence during the era of wars, a reliable base of the rear, a crossroads between Turkestan and India. Babur was buried in the Kabul Garden of Fidelity, a chorbagh-type country estate founded back in 1512, which has remained a masterpiece of gardening and park art of the Muslim East for centuries. To this day, the Babur Gardens remain one of the main attractions of Kabul, but in Andijan, at the end of the twentieth century, they decided to create a smaller copy of them. However, there was no suitable place in the city, so the Bogishamol ("Garden of the Winds") was set up on a hill outside the village of Khartoum, half an hour away by minibus from the city center.
