One of the main attractions of Cairo, and it deserves it. Inside there are several large mosques, a police museum, casemates, a huge military museum. I really liked the exhibits - antique carriages on the second floor of the palace. I wonder how they were dragged there. It will take a lot of time, two hours to walk side by side, and maybe more. Ice cream and water are expensive inside.

A must-visit. Large well-maintained territory, good view of the city. It is a very beautiful mosque, where you can enter either barefoot or by buying shoe covers from local "entrepreneurs". You will not be able to use your shoe covers or get used ones out of the trash, the "entrepreneurs" are clearly monitoring this.

Not everything can be viewed, something is under restoration, excavations are somewhere, and where they are not allowed at all. Two pearls of the fortress: the mosque of Muhammad Ali and An-Nasr Muhammad. There are wonderful views of the city.

It's an incredibly beautiful fortress, and I'm very happy that I went there on the advice of my best friend. I advise you to go and experience this wonderful atmosphere too.

Everything is spectacular, beautiful, it's worth going in and looking everywhere. There is an observation deck on Cairo. The mosque is a separate beauty. It's cool everywhere there. In the toilet, although they write that it is free, but the people who are sitting there are asking for money

The reality is that it is better to go here than to the "beaten" pyramids (pyramids are a bunch of people, collapsed and unkempt sights, intrusive traders and owners of camels). There is something to see and where to walk, there are not many people, there is a beautiful view of Cairo. Payment only by bank card, keep in mind

A very beautiful mosque, and the view of the city from the fortress is generally wonderful, even the pyramids can be seen. One of the disadvantages is that repairs are underway there now.

Not visiting the citadel means not visiting Cairo. Impressive! I liked the military museum and a very beautiful mosque. And a view of the city!
