It's been a great place since Soviet times. 👍🏽 Always fresh beer and reasonable prices.👍🏽 If there aren't many people, then beer is served straight in an ice mug.

The place is old and therefore well-known to many, you can drink beer or something stronger, and in between have a heartfelt conversation with an old friend. I will not say that it is a very cozy place, there are disadvantages in the institution itself, as well as in the service. I am writing a 4-star review, only because it warms the memory of drunken walks through the city center in the past, and I remember how we went to the Headquarters to maintain a drunken state of the body.

I have been to the headquarters several times. It can be crowded, but overall the atmosphere is pleasant. There was no live music during my visit, so we can talk in peace. There are two small halls. I recommend.

Something went wrong when visiting this place.I made an order, the beer was brought immediately, and everything else was not brought even after an hour, I had to cancel the order.Either the cook was not handed over, or the stove broke.You could have told me right away, and not forced me to expect

Always fresh fish and a varied assortment of beer. And of course, the main feature of this place is smoked mackerel, and if it is also with potatoes and onions... It's just great! And do not pay attention to the fact that this is not a pretentious lounge bar, a purely male cafe with good beer... You can have a drink and a snack, unlike many pubs in the city (Pint, Cecil, etc.)

I respect this institution with all my heart. The most favorite bar in Almaty. As I like to call the "people's pub". A bar with a full kitchen, a good selection of beer at affordable prices! They stick to the interior in vain in reviews! All the furniture is new, the walls are painted, the paintings are hanging, the tables are not rolled up. The staff are very friendly and fair workers. And they won't get into their pockets for a word, but they won't be rude either. Vacationers obey the hostesses, you can immediately see that they are respected people. We are sad only at full landing because of one toilet. Coming to the people's pub for such prices, you should not expect Michelin service, you need to understand this and then there will be no unjustified expectations. I wish prosperity, stable uninterrupted operation to the institution and, of course, adequate friendly guests! Thank you.

I visit this place regularly))) A large selection of locally produced draft beer and various dried/smoked/dried fish from local reservoirs. The staff is friendly, the service is fast, the snacks are edible, but the smells from the kitchen hover inside regularly...

Cafe horror has more than 20 years of history. However, when you get there, you realize that time is frozen here. I would recommend that the owners update the furniture and come up with something to arrange the tables. Pay attention to the bathrooms. I am glad that it is located not far from home. The food has a 10-point rating of about five. But when you drink beer, in principle, it goes well. The staff there is friendly and permanent, working for the third decade.

The eatery is at the level of Almaty district 1, but for some reason, it stands in the center of the city and the contingent corresponds to the area in which such an institution should be located, and not to the center. The staff and management are rude.

If earlier there were prices at least not high, now, with the same poor quality, very high, unjustifiably high prices. I don't recommend it. Better hoppers pub or sherlock holmes pub. The price is like at headquarters, the effect is much better and more pleasant.

This is a beer bar, but as it should be in a beer bar - there is a huge assortment of beer and cuisine for it. But if the beer was like in a pint, I wouldn't go here, the beer here is amazing, that's why I recommend this place.
