Arishta is proudly called a restaurant, but it is a maximum cafe for locals. The price is reasonable, and considering that it is a tourist center, it is even small. This cafe reminded me of the ethnic eateries in the markets and along the streets of the city in the 2000s. It's delicious and polite, but they don't really monitor the sanitation. Mostly locals eat here. The armosphere is appropriate. The portions are large. When they came in the morning or at lunch, more or less, but in the evening everything was smoky, the hood couldn't cope. Cons: steep stairs to the basement, not very clean and smoking! Among the advantages: an acceptable restaurant for the area, delicious local dishes, location, and the waiters speak Russian.

I don't know who writes negative reviews. We were brought to this restaurant by a random passerby who said that for sane money you will not taste the national cuisine anywhere else. We were on a business trip for three days and ordered a menu in advance for each evening, including a barbecue from Ossetian. Where else can you eat for $ 60 for two with alcohol. The waiter came up to us almost every minute. I suggested trying watermelon for a snack with vodka - it went well. We recommend it, we recommend it, and we recommend it again. The locals who met us all spoke positively about this place. Anyone who wants to spend twice as much can go to the old town - I do not guarantee the consequences.

After searching for breakfast places in Baku, I think this is the most successful option. Yes, the place looks ugly and is located in the basement, but the quality of the breakfast, its portion is very good. There were four of us and we all took an omelet with tomatoes, tea. You know, after such a breakfast, you could safely endure until dinner. The omelette was cooked for everyone in small pans, the bread was almost hot. In general, if you decide to visit a cafe, you will not regret it.

We read a review about this place from a compatriot on the Vinsky forum, we were interested. The place is worth it to come by yourself and figure out what's what. We found what we were looking for here. Original, simple and delicious at home (never ate separate pilaf, at first we tried just rice - how great it was cooked). The prices were pleasantly surprised, locals come here to eat and this is the best advertising that can be. The music of Azerbaijani performers plays softly in the background. The staff speaks Russian, willingly answered our questions about unfamiliar items in the national menu.
