There are a couple of shops with atypical souvenirs that are not a shame to bring as a gift. Beautiful magnets, snow seals, all kinds of towels, textiles, puzzles, chocolates. We ate inside at the restaurant. It's not cheap (they'd give exactly the same amount in St. Petersburg), but it's delicious and fast. On the ground floor opposite the restaurants there is a fountain with drinking water and you can fill your bottle. Everything is clean and everything is new. The exhibits themselves are interesting. If you know English, take a guided tour - you won't regret it. But even without that, everything can be understood. Inside, the zones are divided by periods. It offers a great view of the pyramids. The staff is polite and helpful. I definitely advise you to visit. There is a taxi driver at the exit (I think his name is Adrian). He speaks excellent Russian. If you have any questions, you need to go somewhere and Uber is not coming, ask him.

An incredible Egyptian museum. The first thing I visited when I arrived in Cairo was a huge space with multiple exhibits. There is an English description everywhere. It took me a little over 2 hours to get around everything, having carefully read all the information. There are a lot of emotions! every tourist should definitely visit.
