I really liked the shopping center. Since currency exchange offices require a passport or a photocopy, it is best to go to almost any store (in my case it was Hema) and pay in dollars, the change is given in dirhams at the average rate (as in a hotel). There are a lot of shops, there is where to get the price. Convenient location with regard to Sharjah (there was a free daily shuttle service from the hotel). Stick with other tourists, and come in advance, then you will not be forgotten.
