I have not been to the UAE. Only at the airport. I made a transfer, flew to the Maldives. The airport is clean, good ventilation. I liked the waiting room. I thought there was nothing to surprise me with, but dyutik impressed me (see photo). 1,300,000 rubles for a 45-year-old deer? Sorry...)))

An airport is like an airport. It's a big one, a record holder in passenger traffic. It is actually located in the center of Dubai city. There were queues at passport control upon arrival. But we tried to open more windows. On the way back, passport control was biometric and fairly fast. From the inside, the airport is ordinary, nothing unusual, just trains to the baggage claim point from the landing site and back. Normal.

Large, comfortable, many business halls, in good condition, there are even showers. All the necessary shops and Duty Free are located on the territory of the airport. There are even large stores of audio and video equipment, from where it is convenient to buy iPhones with you)) But it is not very convenient to move between terminals, you can read about it in other reviews.

a very very long airport ... in principle, everything is clear enough with pointers where to run, but far away) Russian flights were placed for registration at the end of the hall on the left, then run back to the center, the airline Russia (although they bought a plane ticket) started registration late - at 12.05, although the departure according to the plan at 13.45. and only 10 minutes before the registration opened, the numbers of the racks became known... A lot of people flew away on Sunday, the queues are long, but they move relatively quickly. In 25-30 minutes we passed both the border and the inspection. We didn't have time to return the taxi company, there was a queue, we went to look for a business lounge, we didn't find it, we had a snack in a cafe and managed to board, which started 30 minutes late. I draw your attention to the fact that upon arrival in Istanbul, our board stood for 35-45 minutes waiting for a parking number... that's just creepy.....we've never waited so long. and another of the minuses - they did not find the business lounge of our airline, and Turkish airlines did not let in))

our most favorite airport, everything is conveniently organized, from terminal to terminal by bus 20-30 minutes, there is a subway inside the terminal, business halls for any purse, a bunch of shops with adequate prices (we bought my wife a bag for $ 150 cheaper than anywhere we saw before)

Dubai Airport is, of course, another universe. Never in our life have we passed through the registration and inspection area so quickly (maximum 10 minutes). We were even allowed to carry a liter of water with us.
The decoration here is gorgeous - Rolex watches hang everywhere over your head. There are many shops with a wide assortment, prices are different. Compared to Russia, there is something more expensive (some types of alcohol, for example), and something cheaper - equipment and similar things that have left Russia. Only in Duty Free we managed to find the same chocolate on camel milk.
There is a huge waiting area and despite the fact that a lot of people are flying out of Dubai, there are enough places for everyone. It's nice to watch the next richest two-storey Emirates take off every 10 minutes.
Of course, there is free Wi-Fi on the territory, which you can really connect to (at the airport of Hurghada, for example, it is impossible to do this). But in the Emirates in general there are no problems with Wi-Fi. By the way, upon arrival in the UAE, we were given a SIM card with free Internet for a day for each person.

In this airport Terminal, the number of Dutch Fries for departure is very small, almost no… One perfume store, one clothing store and a couple of goodies, alcohol, cigarettes... one electronics counter, including Apple ... but a very poor selection....
And the prices!!!!!!!!! Very/very overpriced !!!! It's better to buy at the Dubai MALL.

Nice spacious airport. However, at peak loads, pandemonium begins, you can lose a lot of time waiting. The duty free zone could be increased at such a size. And there are almost no smoking areas.

I had to take the subway, it turned out to be very convenient-the train arrives directly at terminal 1 (I don't know about the other terminals). The airport is unusually quiet, flights are not announced, but there are quite a lot of information boards. There is a smoking area. Duty free shops occupy a large area, you can buy souvenirs, sweets, etc...

And at the entrance to the airport, water is NOT taken away. We were allowed 3 small bottles of water to carry with us. And at the airport they cost 1k rubles.
They were able to buy watches in the store, which they can no longer buy in Moscow, since goods are not imported to the Russian Federation ...
The Union Pay card from Gazprombank worked everywhere in the Emirates (they were at the end of August - in the first half of September 2023)

Are you seriously trying to get more than 1 star reviews after flight delays and lack of information? This is the worst flight delay that can be imagined, starting with check-in, if I have an electronic boarding pass, I had to queue for 2 hours for check-in and ending with boarding the flight when the gates change without warning and the departure time is unknown, and there is no way to eat because you do not announce anything and the chance to miss boarding is very high

The busiest airline in the UAE, the main hub of Emirates airport - that says it all! The logistics of passenger movement during arrival / departure was well built, all the accompanying procedures were comfortable and fast, including baggage collection. There are difficulties with navigation between terminals, but we have always coped. They moved more often between terminals A and D on the monorail. And for the rest, as everywhere else: expensive cafes and shops, quite decent business halls, well cleaned, in t h in public areas.
