Near the Atlantis the Palm Hotel is the terminus of the monorail line, which runs along an overpass over the surface of the earth and the Persian Gulf. The trains are fully automatic and run at a speed of 75 km/h without driver involvement. The monorail uses three-car trains, each car is quite small. The interval between trains is about 15 minutes. The length of the line is about 5.5 km, which allows you to explore all the surroundings. By the way, there is a tram running from the terminus of the monorail, which takes you to the Dubai Marina area, one of the most expensive and fashionable areas of Dubai with huge skyscrapers and a man-made bay.

This is more of a tourist attraction than a full-fledged transport. It connects the mainland with Palm Jumeirah Island and the Atlantis Hotel, offering panoramic views of the archipelago, skyscrapers and the bay. The ride is impressive with modern carriages with huge windows, especially picturesque at sunset. However, the practical benefits are limited: the high cost of tickets (starting from 35 dirhams one way), the lack of integration with Dubai's public transport and only 5 stations. If you don't plan to visit Atlantis or The Pointe, the trip may not pay off. To save money, it is better to buy a one-way ticket and return by taxi. In general, it's a one—time experience for beautiful photos, but no more.

Palm Jumeirah monorail. It is convenient to get from the terminal to the Water Park. And the view from the sides is more interesting than from a car. A round-trip ticket for 1 person costs 30 AED, which is in 2025. + Includes 3 hours of parking at Palm Gateway, then $10 per hour.
