I took with me a dress that I bought in an Arab store in Egypt, a white floor-length dress with Arabic embroidery, a friend in pants and took a blouse with long sleeves, two girls 9 and 11 years old. I didn't like my dress, they said it was translucent, even though it was only visible in the light. My friend's blouse had sleeves that showed through, and a 9-year-old girl was allowed to wear a knee-length skirt, but she wasn't allowed in at age 11, although I don't understand the differences. In general, we were forced to buy dark-colored Muslim dresses in local shops, which are located right there, and only then were we allowed in. After talking to the tourists, everyone said the same thing, everyone was forced to buy dresses under various pretexts. There's a whole business there that's set up to sell Muslim outfits.
