I recently spent some wonderful days at the Rixos Khadisha Shymkent Hotel. From the very beginning, I was greeted by a friendly team, and the room turned out to be spacious and clean with a wonderful view. I would like to express my special gratitude to the concierge, Mr. Akram Durmen. His attention to detail and willingness to help made my vacation even more comfortable. He was always ready to offer the best leisure options both in the hotel itself and in the city. The restaurant offered a varied menu, and every morning started with a delicious breakfast. My score is 3.5. The hotel is sooooo tired. A lot that needs repair. The upholstery is tattered, the carpet is stained, the furniture is falling apart at times, the sink had to be called by a master... BUT, the worst part: the staff and the restaurant. There are no complaints about breakfast - 5!!! In a restaurant, the menu waiters don't know how long a dish is being prepared - they don't know. The service is long: "I'll ask, I'll clarify, it's probably possible." The prices in the restaurant are, of course, too high, and the taste leaves much to be desired. We decided to order rolls, but they were also ruined, and the lobster only had a shell. Rixos is a name, a show-off, nothing more.

It's a really beautiful hotel, but the last time we checked in, the TV didn't work, and it was never restored. The coffee machine was not working, which, to be fair, was replaced. In addition, the faucet in the shower switched to hot water all the time. I had to hold the faucet with one hand and wash with the other. To top it all off, we were not given the documents for accommodation because something happened to their system. I think you can build a service for that kind of money. There are no complaints about breakfast, pool, gym.

The most luxurious hotel in Shymkent, and maybe in the whole south of Kazakhstan. The reception staff is weak, I had to wait for check-in until the staff finished their business. I also had to be reminded about extra beds twice, although 5 hours have passed since the first request. The room is not bad, it's too pretentious for me, but this is the concept. There is a coffee machine in the room and a small supply of water and coffee capsules. A huge minus is that the air conditioner was working, then it wasn't working. It was especially bad at night, because it was noisy outside and the balcony could not be opened (in the photo, the temperature in the room). There are gorgeous bathrobes in the room, but of course you need to specify the size, there was a small bathrobe. The hotel has a very cool spa area. Adult and children's swimming pool, hammam, steam bath, Finnish sauna and snow room. The latter is generally a very unusual thing for a hot climate. The breakfast is not bad, there are all the traditional European stories. The delights include red and white fish and cheese with mold. And if breakfast, which is included in the room rate, is normal, then dinner is clearly weak. Both the kitchen and the service are three-star, a maximum of three plus. In general, I do not recommend dining in a restaurant, it is expensive and there are many minor flaws. There is nothing deadly, but there are cheaper and better places for dinner.

Upon check-in, the trash can in the bathroom was full, there was a dirty towel hanging, there were two bags of food in the refrigerator, the temperature in the room was 28.5, the air conditioner did not work, the drain in the bathroom was clogged, the water did not drain, the handle of the water temperature regulator was loose, you need to wash with boiling water. To get through to the reception, you need to go downstairs. Regarding the air conditioner, it was suggested to open the balcony. The next day, upon returning to the room, the door to the room was open.This is not a 5 check-in hotel , it doesn 't even pull for 3 . The breakfasts are still good.

At half past midnight, the cleaning started, and I have to get up at 6 a.m. for work, there are no words. Thin frames without sound insulation, the roadway is under the windows, it's very noisy all night, cars are also driving with music. The torn robe… There is no kettle in the room. It is proposed to receive hot water through a coffee machine. The cups are scanty. Audibility between numbers is at the level of a low-voice conversation. In the photo there is a "threshold" under the window, is it in a state of repair??? Why are you checking into a room like this? The name and price do not match the quality of the services.
