My friend and I visited Maithai Massage today, specifically because they offer a discount for two people booking before 7 p.m. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing from start to finish. First, the location was difficult to find, which caused us to arrive just a minute or two late. No one mentioned any issue when we arrived, so we proceeded to the massage room. However, the massage therapists themselves were late by about 20 minutes. The massage itself was subpar—definitely not professional or enjoyable. The real problem, though, came at the end when they informed us that we wouldn’t get the discount because we were “late.” This was never mentioned upon arrival, and it felt like a cheap trick to avoid honoring their own promotion. Their marketing tactic to attract customers completely backfired, as their rude and misleading approach ensured that we won’t be returning. If you’re looking for a relaxing and professional massage experience, I’d recommend looking elsewhere.

I visited the Maithai Spa and was absolutely delighted. The atmosphere is very cozy and relaxing, the staff is polite and attentive to every guest. The massage was simply magnificent — you can feel the professionalism of the masters. After the procedure, there is a feeling of lightness and complete renewal. I will definitely come back again and recommend it to anyone who wants quality rest and self-care!

I specifically wanted to visit this salon, but unfortunately I was disappointed. Massage – 4/10 I'll start with the most important thing — massage. He was very light and did not meet my expectations, especially when compared to Thai masters. In fact, I just lay down for an hour and a half and left. I paid 15,000 drams for it, and it was clearly not worth the money. A separate disadvantage is that the masters do not speak English, Armenian, or Russian. Communication was almost impossible. In addition, the master was constantly coughing — literally every 10 minutes, which added discomfort and concern about hygiene. Service – 8/10 Most salons offer water, tea or something else after the massage, so that the client feels cared for and relaxed to the end. Here— there's nothing. I just left the office, paid, and that was it. The result is 6/10 I wouldn't come back a second time. If I had a choice, I would prefer a different salon. In general, I was very dissatisfied with the quality of the massage and the level of service.

I love classic Thai massage! I've lived in Tai for quite a long time and I really have something to compare it with. There are quite professional masseuses here, they work according to the correct technique. At the very beginning, I warned in English that I needed a strong massage. If this doesn't suit you, ask for medium. They will definitely understand you. During the entire 60 minutes, I had no questions about technique, except that I would like to pay more attention to my feet, but I should have said that in advance. I really liked the salon itself: modern, stylish. The offices are cozy, the tables are comfortable. A cool form for massage. I just wish there was more authenticity, like the smell of sandalwood or Thai warming ointment. At the end of the session, green tea was offered at the exit. I will definitely come back more than once.

They were not professional massage therapists at all, it was just terrible, at first they hurt a lot, they pressed on the spine and coccyx very hard, after 2 days the whole body still hurt. They took 4 hands, one just stroked one leg for 30 minutes, then the other, and did nothing else. The second one just hurt, completely ignorant of massage techniques and points on the body where to massage. When they told me not to do it so much, they just started stroking until the time was up. What awaited me in MaiTai: 1) massage is stroking the skin with oil 2) facial massage is plus some other creams and masks, when asked what kind of mask it is, the master honestly replied that she did not know 3) for dessert, after I open the glass door in the shower, it falls from its upper sash and breaks into small pieces. I hurt my arms and legs. I went out and asked for a first-aid kit, but there was no first-aid kit. The receptionist says the door itself couldn't have fallen. They're probably calling the director, asking me to tell him what happened on the phone. I'm telling you - and he-she couldn't have crashed on her own, only from the impact - You hit her. The important point is that the massage fee is paid BEFORE the service, not AFTER. And so, I leave the massage injured and crying, and the administrator and the director, no, do not offer to compensate me for anything - they say that I broke the door myself. A curtain. This is the Armenian service. Hospitable damn people!!!

I took 2 hours of traditional Thai massage. There aren't as many questions about technology as there are about everything else. 1. The master had a cold, her nose was not breathing, and she used napkins during the session. She also had her own phone, which sometimes vibrated. It's weird for me. I lay there wondering if she was sick or crying. From time to time, the master asked me in English if I was okay. I asked, what about you? The master replied. I asked if she was ill?Is she crying? Nooo, it's okay. I asked again about the non-breathing nose, maybe an allergy. No. To say that I'm in shock is an understatement. This is a service in the capital of the country. 2. After the session, administrators pay zero attention. No standard "how are you?", no water-tea offer, no relaxation area after a massage. Two administrators, one was busy with other people, the second apparently decided not to pay attention. So I didn't wait for the attention to talk about the master. 3. Initially, there were doubts whether to sign up or not, I was confused by the completely free days and time, I signed up day after day. That is, there are no records in the salon. In good salons, and in the "best" ones, even more so, an appointment for 2-3 weeks in advance. And not to break through. And here everything is free. It was suspicious. 5. I did not expect such a service. She is a master of Thai massage. And I know what kind of massage and service should be. Cure your masters, and reconsider your attitude towards customers. As a result, I won't come back and recommend it to my friends.

How to communicate with them is unknown...I want to say that I had some injuries, there are hernias, that somewhere it needs to be massaged weaker or stronger, but alas...They're telling me something, but I don't understand them...I'm sorry, unfortunately, I don't speak English. But I came to a massage parlor in Armenia. How can a massage therapist do massage without knowing that a person has injuries, spinal curvature, hernias?? Massage of a person with a healthy skeleton and with some diagnoses is obviously different. I've been there three times. The first time it hurt, even though I said to do "soft", I could say it in English. The second time, I went to another masseuse, it was good, comfortable and pleasant! When I came out of the procedure, I asked the administrators: what is the name of the master? I did not receive a response...apparently, it's difficult to look at and answer on a computer...Then I wrote on Instagram that I liked the massage and I want to know the name of the masseuse so that I can come to her all the time. The answer was: why do you need her name?? So that what?? What will you do with this information? We will record that you enjoyed everything, goodbye. When I signed up for the 3rd time, I didn't know how to sign up for my master, because I didn't know the name. When recording online on their website, you cannot choose a master, only a service and time, and then who will be the one...And anyway, she didn't know a name or anything...and I had to sign up for another master. I asked the administrators and the masseuse herself to make it "soft". But instead, she got a soft pain in her body for the fourth day...I spent 18,000 drams, time, and resources, and ended up in pain... Then, when I came out, I asked the receptionist why they didn't tell me the name at the time, why the masseuse was massaging painfully now, although they repeatedly said that they needed to be softer. Plus, we didn't understand each other at all, she was saying something to me in English, but I didn't understand...to which they replied, and I quote: well, we have masseuses from another country and another nationality, so there may be problems. In this regard, the name is not disclosed...Excuse me??? When I sign up for a massage, I provide my full name and phone number, and no one has done anything with this information yet. If I find out the masseuse's name, what happens, what can I do? It is absolutely strange that a massage studio is afraid to provide information about the names of its masseuses... Is it something abnormal that a client spends time, money, trusts his body and health to a masseuse and wants to know, for example, the name, work experience?? It's not like I'm asking for their personal information. I don't come to chat with masseuses, but for a service that concerns my health and for which I pay! Then the manager contacted me and all her words were like: I'll talk to the director and call you back (of course, she didn't call me back). If you may not have liked the administrator or her response, then I'm sorry. Excuse me?? Did you not like the administrator? I explain the situation, I tell you about the massage, about the answers of the administrators, about the language barrier. And to me: maybe you didn't like the master?? I don't care which administrator, I shouldn't like the administrator, I'm not going to him for the service. I didn't say the receptionist had the wrong hairstyle or the wrong eye color. Or "I didn't like the answer," but I'm sorry, the answer is "they're from another country, there may be problems, so we won't tell you the name, and I don't know who massaged you, etc." is this a satisfactory response from the administrator to a client who pays money for a service and puts his health at risk? The service also leaves much to be desired...Whenever I came, I would tell you my name and the time I was booked for. But always, when I came, they asked me: who are you to, and what are you for? I don't understand why they need a computer...if the masseuse's name is immediately after the procedure, they can't tell if they write me down with my data themselves and again they can't understand who I'm coming to and what procedure I'm going to. And how do I know who they signed me up to, if they don't provide me with information about masseuses.
