The 30-meter-high structure is installed in the western part of the city, opposite the Taraz Arena Sports Palace. On the pedestal there are sculptures of khans Kerey and Zhanibek with a total height of 4.2 m. The sculptural composition, revealing the historical significance of the formation of the Kazakh Khanate, is well viewed from all sides.
