Stunningly beautiful church, formerly belonging to the monastery. It was built in the Renaissance. The unofficial name is the Sistine Chapel of Milan for its beauty and abundance of murals. The temple is divided into two parts: one was supposed to be for nuns, the other for lay people, and you can enter both parts. The frescoes are fantastic. Many masters worked, but the main one was Bernardino Luini, one of the best followers of Leonardo da Vinci. Also his sons and other craftsmen. There are volunteers working in the church, you can always approach them to ask questions about the history of the place. They are noticeable because they carry signs and are mostly pensioners.
