The Ataturk Mausoleum is one of the most impressive and significant places in Turkey. The architecture of the complex impresses with its monumentality and strict harmony. The entire space is designed to emphasize the greatness and respect of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, the founder of modern Turkey. The territory is very well maintained, with wide alleys, green gardens and a museum where you can learn more about the life and work of Ataturk. The changing of the guard is especially impressive – a solemn and disciplined spectacle. The atmosphere in the mausoleum is solemn and at the same time calm, it evokes a sense of respect and pride.

An amazingly beautiful place, at first glance the heart freezes from the beauty and size. I was lucky enough to get to the changing of the guard.

Anıtkabir is the mausoleum of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, the founder of the Turkish Republic. The place is very significant and the Independence Day holiday is held here first of all. If possible, you can see the solemn changing of the guard post by the soldiers. The post is changed every 1-2 hours (as it says on the Internet). The building itself is without frills and pomp. This gives a very clear understanding of Ataturk's policy.
