I really liked it, a small but pleasant atmospheric museum! Everything is beautifully decorated, we were glad to visit! 🙂 They said that there is nothing interesting in the vicinity of our hotel (Flamingo) - but there is, very much there!

The stone fort on the peninsula, from which the history of the emirate of Umm El Kai Vine began. It was founded in 1786 by Sheikh Rashid Al-Mualla, the founder of the dynasty of sheikhs ruling in Umm al–Quwain to the present day. A settlement sprang up around him. In 2001, a museum was opened here. Its exposition includes various artifacts found on the territory of Umm al-Quwain. You can also see traditional Arab dhow boats, an imitation of an oriental bazaar, samples of military equipment and many other exhibits. A colorful local fort and museum. The inspection is not more than half an hour. There are not many exhibits. About walking, it helps out with the presence of air-conditioned rooms.

We relax at the Flamingo hotel, 10-15 minutes to the museum slowly. There were the only ones in it, small, interesting. Admission is 5 dihrams, a child of 5 years old was allowed free of charge. Check all the doors, some of them seem to be closed.

A wonderful place, an amazing museum in the backwoods of Umm Al-Kuwait, interesting for those who are hungry for adventure and exoticism!!! It really surprised me!!!

A nice place, considering that this is the only attraction within walking distance of its 5 dirhams per ticket.
