We had a rest from March 3 to March 13. I liked everything! We took everything included. We stopped at the hotel early in the morning, at 6:15. We were worried that we would have to wait half a day for check-in. But no, fortunately, they settled right away! The room is ordinary, clean. Then there was a problem with the toilet bowl, why it was leaking. We changed it to another number without any problems. In general, the staff is responsive, any problem can be solved. Minus only the language, but we downloaded a translator to our phone, it became easier. The food in the restaurant is delicious. But if someone is waiting for delicacies and seafood, then you are not here. Greens, vegetables, salads, soups, side dishes, pudding, jelly are in the assortment and delicious. The territory at the hotel is small, well-groomed, clean. There is a bar on site, it starts working from 12 o'clock in the afternoon. The drinks are good, we drank rum, whiskey, and beer, we liked it. The bartender Santosh is generally a great guy. The sea is excellent and clean. The fish are swimming. Vacationers are all in sight of each other, almost everyone got to know each other, prompted, told, shared information. We lived like a big friendly company. We enjoyed our vacation. Vacationed with my husband at this hotel in November.I liked the hotel, a solid three, even I would say a four.The room was on the second floor, clean, there was cleaning, towels were changed, bed linen was not.but if you ask, they will change it without any problems and what is missing - they will give everything.There was everything you needed in the room -a hairdryer, a safe, a kettle, tea, coffee, sugar, shampoos and cream were put on every day.The territory is small, green, but cozy, the beach is also small, sun beds, towels, everything is there.There were few vacationers, Russians.We communicated well, shared our impressions about the excursions.I liked the food, everything is delicious, fish meat every day.The only thing is that there is nothing outside the hotel, only abandoned retail outlets that were formed after the coronavirus, but they say that everything will be rebuilt soon.You can take a taxi to the shopping center "Lu-Lu" for 10 dirhams in one direction, there you can buy something for gifts (different dates are cheaper than on excursions, sweets, nuts, souvenirs are few).At the checkout, you can pay in dollars at 3.62.There are also retail outlets and an exchange office near the center (you need a passport).In general, I liked the rest-quiet, calm, but young people will be bored.And yet, as everyone writes, on the wayfarer, Saturday, local people come to rest-very noisy people.To see the Emirates, take an excursion to Dubai for $ 85 (standing) or to Abu Dhabi for $ 105 and see all the main sights.

Important! To everyone who has read reviews about the "quiet cozy hotel"!!! This is a branch of hell!
1. The hotel is designed for conferences and corporate events of Indian companies (non-stop with occasional breaks for a couple of days). Every evening, the hotel turns into a branch of hell. The hotel hosts concerts and discos in the Jimmy-jimmy thiel! Acha-acha! The music from the speakers screams late into the night with terrible force and nothing that you can turn on at full volume in your room will block the sound from the street. If you don't end up in a mental hospital after your vacation, then you will learn to fall asleep to the sound of a jackhammer.
2. Cats. Stray ones. They live on the territory of the hotel in large numbers, apparently the hotel encourages. Sometimes they scream, they go to the toilet directly to the beach: big, small, at night, during the day, next to the sunbed on which you sunbathe, your presence does not bother them. Soon you will learn to look at your feet and not forget to wear shoes.
3. Crows. The lesser of evils, They do not scream as loudly as Indians, they do not shit as abundantly as cats, they can devour what is on the table, in a bag and where else they can climb. Keep an eye on things!

We were in November 2023, the weather is gorgeous, the sea is warm. Because there were no storms in the bay. The old hotel building is tortured, some rooms have mold on the walls. The new building is clean, beautiful, the view from the window is amazing, panoramic Windows, air conditioners. The cuisine is mostly Indian, spicy, but delicious. The hotel staff is friendly, all issues are resolved quickly. The disadvantage of this hotel is that you can't get out of it, there is complete ruin around, there is no civilization, only by taxi. And yet, they brought a lot of Indians (-+50), and the locals rested for 1-2 days, it feels like you are in the spice market.
There are two excursions from the hotel for free, to see flamingos and catch crabs, it is necessary to go, it is interesting.
In the last days of the vacation, there were small inconspicuous transparent jellyfish in the sea, they sting, there are traces left.
We had a great rest, but I don't want to go to this hotel a second time.

A wonderful hotel, small, but very cozy. For me, it's much more than the three stars indicated.
Beautiful territory with lots of flowering bushes, two-storey building. The beach at the hotel is not large, there are three covered awnings and a lot of sun loungers, and next to a clearing with barbecue and tables.
There are still remnants of an old fishing village around, there is an opportunity to walk through local shops and feel the flavor.
A separate towel is provided for the pool, the room is large, beautifully decorated, with all amenities. They clean every day, put water on, there is a kettle and a refrigerator in the room.
Breakfast buffet, for lunch and dinner with a small number of people, ready-made dishes were brought out, very plentiful and delicious. If there are a lot of people, then they make a buffet.
There is a small slide for children, all the staff is very nice, polite.
I walked about three kilometers to the wild beach, large sand dunes, or to the city municipal, near the hotel there is a shopping street where you can always catch a taxi.
I saw men who fished there. From the hotel there is a free excursion to the islands to the flamingos, which you need to sign up for, and you can also go crab fishing.

A wonderful place! Quiet, calm. We rested as a couple from September 27 to October 4, 2022. Cleanliness and service at five plus! If you are planning a trip to this hotel, take all inclusive, it is extremely difficult to eat separately from the hotel. The food in the hotel is without frills, but you just won't stay hungry and plus there is high-quality alcohol on the bar. There is no Russian-speaking staff at the hotel, but with the help of an interpreter everything worked out perfectly. A bonus from the hotel is a boat trip to the mangroves (beautiful herons, you can see flamingos from afar) and an evening crab hunt. Pre-register at the reception and that's it, trips are waiting for you. People from all emirates come to the hotel to catch crabs and fish. By the way, your catch will be cooked for you for dinner.
Everything in the rooms is working. we took an adapter to our plug with us, since there is another connector for charging devices.
We bought an excursion to Dubai from the tour operator's guide. They didn't regret it. Very cool!
There's nothing to see in the neighborhood. If you want to buy souvenirs, you will have to go to Lila market or city market. They have a taxi on the meter. We went to the City Market in Ajman. There are two shops there, we bought various dates.

We had a rest from April 18-28, 2023 with a family of 4 adults (age 76, 48.45 and 21 years). The Flamingo Beach Hotel is located in Um Al Quwain, it is a poor Emirate and only gets upset. There are no restaurants, civilization, supermarkets nearby,there is no transfer to Dubai Mall!!! From transport there only- Taxi! Our four-storey building is newer than the other building, all rooms have balconies and sea views.floor-to-ceiling windows, Premium rooms are bright and spacious. Refrigerator, safe, kettle, glasses are all there. There was no iron. We took breakfast and dinner. The hotel is very loyal, we collected plates and calmly took them to the room (instead of lunch).no one is looking at you and judging you.The staff is friendly, the food is like everything in the Emirates with an Indian accent. Especially if the local population comes by.150 people each, but there are always eggs, cheeses, chicken, beef, fish, seafood, fruits. A trip to the flamingo birds on a (junk) is also included in the price... It's not the season for crabs, although this is attached. From the hotel, two hundred meters away, there are local (kororitnye) shops, a la (Selpo). Local robotyags hang out there, Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, they are very welcome. Three hundred meters through the wipers of the Museum/ Fort. I advise you to go, it will leave positive impressions. 60km from Dubai.
There is nothing to do outside the territory. Half construction sites, half slums.

I give a review about the Flamingo Beach Hotel. Ghoub Street, Umm al-Qaywain, UAE.
The airport is about 2 hours away by car. The hotel is located on the shore of the bay. There is a beach. But its quality is average. The rooms are located in two-storey buildings. Perhaps a four-storey building has already been completed. There is a nice swimming pool. I don't post photos - there are plenty of them on the Internet.
There are no comments on the territory and numbers. Everything is clean, what is supposed to work. There is free Internet. Air conditioning is normal. Room cleaning is present.
Restaurant.
Quite normal for three stars. Everything you need for breakfast and dinner is there. Of course, no frills. But my family and I are not special gourmets. There are not many hotel guests, but there are days when locals come for a "weekend" type. But everything is within reason..
Trips to the islands with flamingos and crab hunting are organized from the hotel. The latter event I would ban or severely restrict. Soon the poor crabs will all be killed. If anyone is in this hotel, don't be fooled into hunting crabs. Yes, it is interesting and unusual. But nature still needs to be protected. And there is very little meat in them... Don't get full..
I really hope that the hotel management will read this paragraph and draw the appropriate conclusions.
Now about something else.
In 10 minutes on foot there is a wonderful old beach. Huge and deserted. The sea is gorgeous. A 5-minute drive away is the new beach.
Both of these beaches impressed me unspeakably. Huge territories, there is no one (we were at the end of November). Gentle entry into the water. For locals, +30 in the shade and +30 in the water is cold.... Awesome sea. If you swim, then on these beaches. A taxi runs constantly in front of the hotel. There are no problems with the trip. Inexpensive. But bargain a little.
A couple of kilometers from the hotel begins the central street with various shops. We were shopping there. Who hunts for alcohol, that is, the store is 20 minutes away by taxi. (you will get information on how to get there on the Internet).
You can visit Dubai. We, through the reception, found out the phone number of the Russian driver Damir, and with him we rode around the dalnyaks. But you can also take a taxi.
Actually, I had concerns about the territories around the hotel. I've seen enough photos on the Internet. Some ruins and sheds around. But, everything turned out to be much better. Construction is going on everywhere in the Emirates, old buildings are being broken down.... But the security is at the highest level. I walked with my wife at night between these narrow streets, where the local population sat and drank tea. Everything was completely calm. There is not even a hint of any aggression. The Emirates are completely safe in all respects. In any store, visitors are treated with a smile and goodwill.
Prices.
In the provinces - everything is not expensive, you can and should bargain. In Dubai, the prices are, of course, higher.
In terms of security, even in remote areas, the Emirates have respect.
Money.
Dollars can be exchanged everywhere. There are no problems with the cards either. Terminals are available. In stores, they paid with cards.
What to buy: Leather products are mandatory. Spices. Medicines!For example, citramon from the UAE, this is not our citramon at all, although the composition is the same. Well, various oil perfumes and trinkets. Local taxi drivers will tell you where, what, how much ..... However, in broken English. So, an off-line translator will help you.
Bottom line: I recommend the Flamingo Hotel, the UAE - I highly recommend it!!!
