At the Union Coop supermarket in the Jumeirah-1 area, I do not recommend ordering grilled meat in the meat department. We ordered 8 pieces of mutton, and as a result we received 8 skewers of five different pieces of meat each. Moreover, it looks like they were specially heavily fried (before charring) so that different types of meat would not be distinguished. They added, it seems, cheap meat at the price of our ordered contract. We didn't call the administrator, because we don't speak English very well, but according to the behavior of the meat department staff in response to our question, it became clear that they were dealing with tourists. It was April 19th of this year. At the same time, in the department where fish is fried, everything was always OK.
