Three by the stars. A normal hotel. I took an all-inclusive tour. The food is monotonous, but the hotel is also not five-plus stars. You won't stay hungry.
I rested for 8 days. I flew to Egypt from the tour operator Fan&San. I flew there at night.
The room upon arrival was very bad, damp and smelled of mold. In some kind of basement room, although I immediately ordered a ticket with a sea view. He refused to move in there. The $20 at the reception magically solved this problem. The second version of the room was perfect. The restaurant was next to the room, and the bars were just around the corner. The beach is right opposite. There are many Russian vacationers. That is, exactly yes. It's like being at home. It was also full of old foreigners. Pensioners. (I wish I knew where they are not) I recommend that you go there once to try it. Would I come here again? Hardly. But for a vacationer with low requirements and a small budget, it is quite suitable. We had a rest with my son at Empire Beach Aqua park 3* from 17.12.24
That's exactly what the name of the hotel was written on the voucher. Although in fact, the hotel is called Empire Beach 3*, the first line.
Everything corresponds exactly to 3 stars. The room was charged an additional $20 for early check-in, and $20 for a normal room.
You can bargain. But we were tired, and at 5 a.m. we really wanted to sleep.
The room is small, but we only spent the night there and washed. They clean well. We could have hung a bigger curtain in the shower so that it wouldn't spill on the floor.
The beach is sandy and nice. There is a reef and fish.
We were completely satisfied with the food. For breakfast, scrambled eggs, in various variations, boiled eggs, mashed potatoes, scrambled croutons, pancakes, baked and fresh vegetables, buns. There is a toaster. Coffee, tea
For lunch and dinner there is always fish, meat, chicken, duck, cake, rice, potatoes, spaghetti, lentils, beans.
There is no wine. Only strong alcohol and beer.
I took a glass with me at the beach bar and asked to pour it into it. They have never refused.
There are a lot of crows. At breakfast and dinner, a special person drives them away from street tables so that they don't carry food.
There are no complaints about the staff.
My son liked everything too. There was wind from time to time, and it was cool to swim in the morning. They entered the water no earlier than 11 o'clock. They were very tanned, even though they were smeared with cream.

This was my first vacation in Hurghada, I want to share the pros and cons of this hotel:
+ Excellent beach, sandy approach, there are corals further away, clean water with an abundance of marine life, it's great to swim with a mask here. Lots of sun beds, umbrellas, wind barriers
+ Excellent staff, solve any issues promptly, remember your tastes and preferences, always friendly and humorous
+ The food is delicious and quite varied, lots of vegetables, delicious meat and dishes from the chef
+ Internet in the lobby, but the speed is good, it was comfortable to communicate via video.
+ The aqua zone includes three pools, a large one without heating, a comfortable pool with slides, cool slides, albeit small, a children's pool is warm
+ A large area, there is a place to disperse, there is no feeling of crowding
— The rooms are very tired, the furniture is old, the towels are dirty, the bed is not very good either. There were indelible stains on the bed and towels from God knows what.
I was disgusted to be in the room and use it all
— The water is hot only in the afternoon before lunch, barely warm in the evening, it is impossible to swim, apparently heating from the sun (I was in February), plumbing is also old and nasty. The shower curtain is dirty and musty.
— The glasses in the beach bar are plastic and sooo old, they are also disgusting to drink from
— from 23 hours to 01 at night, a loud disco is noisy in a nearby hotel, which wildly prevents sleep and can cause headaches
— On the beach, merchants came up to us every now and then, offering photos, tattoos, massages, a trip to the club, tours, and yoga. They don't always accept rejection the first time. It was annoying.
— There is a gang of crows operating on the veranda of the restaurant, who steal food if you walk away or turn away, at first it was fun, but then it was annoying too that you can't even walk away calmly at tea, because dessert will be stolen. Local seals also go begging for food, but at least they are not such greyhounds as crows. By the way, there are no seagulls here at all, they fly past this hotel, apparently crows keep the territory.
In general, I liked the rest, but it was too much for 9 days, the only thing that saved me was that I went on excursions. It was great for the first time, but I didn't set foot in three stars anymore. 😁

I am happy with my stay at the empire beach agua park hotel. The room was cleaned every day. Nice beach. Good entry into the sea. They cooked delicious food. Nice, courteous staff at the reception, as well as at the bar, restaurant, and on the beach. I plan to go again.

Royal and Empire. The Royal is a relatively new hotel, the Empire is an old one. Be careful when booking, it may be written royal, but they will settle in the empire.
The territories of both hotels are small, but green
Rooms:
With a sea view, these are old rooms, everything works, but it is clear that the rooms are tired. Consider the sea view for yourself, the balconies are small, you won't sit much, you won't admire, due to the fact that the heat and the air conditioner are constantly working, you can't see much of the sea from the room, a couple of photos no more. See for yourself whether it's worth paying for this or not.
Overlooking the pool - well, in my opinion everything is clear, the noise, the hubbub, but if you came here not to sit in the room, then the norm
Overlooking the garden - the rooms are fresher, panoramic Windows, but not far from the pool, so it's the same as the pool.
Beach:
The beach is nearby, deep enough, there is a small coral reef with fish, due to the fact that boats are parked nearby, Oil sometimes leaks, the staff quickly cleans everything. There are enough sun beds, but it's better to go to the beach before breakfast and borrow it, I can finish. Plus, they bring at least two or three more hotels here, so there is a little competition, but there is still.
In general, the beach is good, there are fish
Entertaining:
There is no such thing here, teams gather in the afternoon to play volleyball, in the evening there is a kind of nightclub on the territory, you can dance and drink. That's it.
Food:
You need to understand that Egypt is not a culinary country, so the food here is monotonous, but the predecessors are completely right, you will not stay hungry, but do not count on a special variety. By the second week, everything was already boring.
Staff:
It's really a gem here, they try very hard, if you ask to change the linen, towel, give water or replace the room, they will definitely do it. Do not offend him, leave a couple of dollars for tea and you will be pleased with all sorts of figures made of towels
Vacationers:
Mostly pensioners from Germany, Poland, Italy, as well as many locals. In any case, we have not encountered any difficulties.
The feeling as a whole:
When we were driving, we had no special illusions, we understood that this was a troika, which means Spartan conditions. They also paid $20 extra to get a good room (this is the norm for Egypt). The purpose of the trip was to relax on the beach, the sea and take a break from worries. It worked out. The rest was not spoiled, but there is no direct wow effect. We won't go a second time.
I recommend it to those who have a very tight budget, no premium service habits and who just want to lie on the beach and swim.

Polite waiters, bartenders, chefs are ready to fulfill your every wish, for dinners they make different dishes on the grill every day. Meat, chicken, fish every day in a variety of dishes for lunch and dinner in large quantities. The chef is a professional in his field. There are food festivals for dinner, it's a great idea. The territory of the hotel is not bad, the lawns are well maintained, the beach is its own, the first coastal, its own water park, although the water in the pools is very cold, not heated, although as a rule the slides are mainly used by children. The reception and accommodation service spoils the whole impression of the hotel, upon settlement, extortion of funds immediately begins for allegedly checking into the best room. In fact, the rooms leave much to be desired, they are either economy without a window, which they will give you for the standard, or 2-3 local standards, which will persistently push you for an additional fee, claiming that these are femeli rooms (the so-called family, that such a room should be at least 2 rooms by all standards they haven't even heard of it). There is age-old dirt in the rooms, gen. the room stock has not seen cleaning and repairs for a long time. The towels are all stained from the last century, but we must pay tribute to the clean and good quality bed linen. If I go again, it's only because of the territory and the kitchen. The reception and accommodation service should be driven to hell, except for extortion from the doorstep, they do nothing to make guests feel comfortable in the rooms, and therefore they do not cope with their direct duties. We stayed at this hotel in December 2023.
The rooms are certainly tired, very much. The territory is good, 2 swimming pools + another children's pool, there are slides for children and adults. The food is also good (do not forget that it is 3 stars and should not be compared with 4 and 5 stars) for three it is not bad, the sea is a miracle and the beach is good, in the evening there is not a big show for vacationers. The territory is shared with a 4-star hotel (our territory is better and the course in the sea is also much better)

A disgusting hotel. They move into some kind of room, with a broken refrigerator, 15 cm of snow in the freezer, with a running toilet (the entire floor in the bathtub is in water). The doors to the shower do not close, the water runs barely warm. There is a piece of soap and 1/4 roll of paper. There were exactly two towels for two people, which had seen the sights. That towels, that bed linen are all in the hair, stains. We went into the room, and there was centuries-old dirt. Not just in the corners, but everywhere. The so-called closet (actually just a hole in the wall) was opened, and there was a whole bunch of cobwebs and, accordingly, spiders. The air conditioner hums like an airplane engine.
The food is disgusting, the chicken is not cooked, a couple of times a week there was an incomprehensible fish, so it's all burnt. From the first day, diarrhea is guaranteed. The only thing that could be eaten were vegetables. The beer is warm, they give 2 glasses in one hand, pour it as if from their own pocket. The cups into which plastic ones are poured, which have also seen life, are all broken. The dishes are not really washed, everything is stained, there was lipstick on the glasses.
Mostly some Germans who are always smoking everywhere
In general, avoid this hotel.

We rest from 07/14.23 to 07/21.23. It is very difficult to evaluate the hotel unambiguously. The sea is excellent, the sand is fine, Everything is in order in terms of safety. Food and dining: the food is monotonous and boring. It's not very good for my taste, but we went to a restaurant and it wasn't very good either. We visited this hotel in February 2024. We were constantly freezing at night and slept under two blankets). Since the air temperature did not rise above 18 degrees at night, and there were only tiles on the floor in the room and the air conditioner did not work at all to supply hot air.
The hotel is very old: furniture, dishes, interior. Everything, everything is very ancient. The shower is terrible. But there was always hot water, if you open hot water in the sink and in the shower, then in 2 minutes there will be hot water all the time.
You need to walk down the street to the sea. The photo shows the distance from the sea.
The beach by the sea is sandy and pebbly. The entrance to the sea is convenient. There is a pier, you can jump from it. If you swim in a mask, you can see fish. Not so much, but it happens.
The staff is helpful. If you calmly explain in English, then everything is done quickly and efficiently.
The food was poor, but they never went hungry.
The water in the pool is cold in winter, the children swam mainly in the pool on the way to the sea - there is a heated pool.
The housekeeper wanted to clean the room every day. But we asked every other day. Since they almost did not live in the room, accordingly, there was no dirt.
Wi-Fi is only available in the lobby, the speed is very low. The video was almost not loaded.
The entertainment program in the evenings is weak, but if you are in the company of friends, then you will not be sad for sure.
If you plan to travel a lot around Hurghada, go on excursions and be constantly at sea, then you can stay at this hotel. If you need high-quality and varied food, a chic room, then rather close this review and look for a new hotel)))

Egyptian 3-ka, she is like that. The hotel needs renovation, and major. But the territory is beautiful, well-groomed. Nutrition - you can live, you won't starve. The sea is a bay, the approach is smooth, convenient for children and those who do not swim. If you need fish, then you need to walk along the pier 100 m closer to the open sea. 10-15 min. walking distance to Hurghada shopping center, 1.5 km from the market, including the fish market. Of the cons: the hotel rooms are just creepy, if you say that the furniture and rooms are tired, then it's nothing to say, everything is falling apart. The bed linen and towels are old and washed, with some stains. What kind of spots are unclear, and I don't want to know, to be honest. Using such towels and bed linen is not pleasant from the word at all. Of the gigantic set, there was only a lumpy one. There is no shampoo or toothpaste. The rooms have air conditioning, but it only works for cooling, so if you go in winter, it will be very cold at night. Hot water only runs during the day, at night it runs warm and then it takes time for it to run, at least half an hour, then it will run cold. My bottom line is this - if money allows you to find a hotel a little more expensive, then do not even consider this hotel, 3 stars make themselves felt.

We were at this hotel from 8.12.22 to 18.12.22. Of the advantages, only the stunning sea (smooth approach, a very short distance from the shore to the depth, a lot of fish, crabs, dolphins swim to the pier).It's cool to dive with a mask, you can see the gorgeous underwater world. The water is clear, transparent, turquoise. In the evenings it is only cool, the wind blows cold, you can swim until 16.00.
The hotel itself is terrible. We were given a small, very dirty room (the windows were never washed there, the curtains never seemed to be washed, towels and bed linen were all stained, when checking in they did not even change the pillowcases after the previous guests, it immediately caught my eye, because there was black hair on the pillowcase).They cleaned like this-they would wipe the floors, the tray in the bathroom and that was it. Not once in 10 days have the linen been changed, the towels were changed once. But they immediately put flowers from a neighboring flower bed on the refrigerator, but they did not receive money from me for this.So the maid went around for 2 days and extorted money, and on the last day she already came with a note in Russian - "Will you give me money?".From such impudence, my face was already distorted, just so that she would fall behind, I gave her 1 dollar. In general, everyone extorts money there, and if you don't give it, then you will be treated very badly, this manifests itself in everything. I'm not a greedy person, but giving money for a complete lack of service is too much. Water was not brought 3 times, I had to go to the reception 5 times, beg for a bottle of water, which is included in the room rate and you have to put it on. It was written that there was a kettle and glasses in the room, but they were not there, I asked at the reception several times, to no avail, only when I complained to the guide, the kettle was brought. Everything in the room is old-furniture, plumbing, water barely flows from the hose in the shower and in the toilet. We arrived at 8 a.m., we were not fed breakfast, only after 10 o'clock we put on bracelets, and took them off at exactly 12 o'clock on December 18, we were on the territory all day without lunch and dinner (but we were ready for this, we took pizza in a cafe), there was a severe flight delay, the guide asked the manager to at least have dinner They gave it to me, but no, they didn't even give me tea. As soon as they checked into the room, construction began-they changed the tiles by the pool, it lasted 24 hours a day, it was impossible to sleep at night under such a pea and listening to the puncher (many asked not to drill at least at night-it was useless), I had to buy earplugs to somehow sleep. The food is not bad, but monotonous, after 4-5 days it gets boring. At lunch and dinner, they gave chicken, fish, and sometimes beef. The pastries were delicious-buns, cakes. There is nothing but alcohol on the beach, but also only beer, which is poured into a 100-gram cup (like our glasses), and mutter, which is passed off as whiskey, rum, brandy, gin and anything else, but poured from one bottle. With any appeal and request, they laugh at you and smile into your eyes, but in Arabic they send you far and for a long time. They came to change money (dollars into pounds), a bank employee put a 100-dollar bill into the terminal and that's it, neither pounds nor a bill back. They immediately pretended that they did not understand anything, they did not understand Russian, they wrote some kind of address, contact there. I went to the reception, asked for directions to the bank at this address, the administrator gathered 5 people, everyone laughed together and dispersed, called the guide, who pretended that he also did not understand Russian well, go and figure it out for yourself.There is zero help. The next day in the morning we took a taxi to this address, explained the situation, said to come in the afternoon, went there again in the afternoon, and lo and behold, a normal employee came across, looked at the cameras, returned the money to us in pounds (he had a whole stack of applications, so this case does not seem to be the only one).Instead of enjoying the weather and the sea, I had to rush around the banks in soap.Hurghada is a very dirty city, everyone is climbing up to you, buy-buy, there is nowhere to walk, I walked for half an hour-my head is splitting from the noise and arrogant Arabs. On day 6, I wanted to give everyone a ride in the face so that these nasty smiles could be removed from their faces. I liked only the Marina port and the mosque nearby, it is clean and beautiful (probably because it is a tourist place). Everyone takes you on excursions, the prices are unrealistic, they don't really want to discount and bargain, when you just turn around, they can drop a little in price so that they don't leave at all. We walked 2 times around the shopping center "Hurghada City", as it is clean, you can safely look at things, try on, there are changing booths.
If only the sea is important to you and you are an unpretentious, grated man who likes to quarrel and demand his own, then welcome to this hotel, if you want to relax at least with minimal comfort, then you definitely are not here, avoid this place.

She lived from February 14 to February 19, 2022. It is gorgeous on the territory of the hotel. The sea is nearby, a wonderful beach! The staff is polite and helpful, but not annoying. Delicious food was served in the restaurant, lots of greens (arugula, parsley) fruits (melon, watermelon, dates, sweet Egyptian oranges, strawberries every day), fish, chicken, meat every day. Everything is delicious! Lots of delicious cakes. Those who wanted to try alcoholic beverages, personally I am not a fan, I have not tried. On the beach at 16 o'clock they gave coffee or fruit juices, fruit cocktails and pizza, buns, sandwiches. I liked the animators, yoga, fun and dynamic activities in the pool, who wanted to play volleyball, in the evenings light show, fakir show, dancing. In short, I really liked this hotel. Before Egypt, I was in Turkey and Thailand, but there was no such thing. I recommend this hotel.

I stayed at this hotel from 07/28/2018 and decided to share my review.
In any case, do not choose this hotel, the owner has 3 of them and all of them are neither 3 nor 4 stars. I went to the hotel at 12 at night, I didn't recognize the reception, I thought what kind of room… But they settled in right away, offered to have dinner and took me to my room. I was horrified, I thought it was a service room, but they said it would be until morning, and they would move there. The bed was made, but I thought it was all dirty, so I lay down on top just to spend the night. In the morning, after taking a closer look, I realized that all the laundry was washed, perhaps!!!, it was clean. As a result, in the morning she went to the reception and asked for a bracelet, but the number was left the same. This room, as I realized later, is for 2 families, divided by a shared toilet with a shower. So I stayed in it. There is 1 side with a side view of the sea, the other to the neighboring rooms. The air conditioners work perfectly, freeze the room in 2 minutes, and that's where the advantages end. The TV remote control does not work, there is no safe, the furniture is antediluvian, there was a dispenser in the shower only with gel, which quickly ran out. The water on the floor was never cleaned.
They do not do cleaning, they do not put paper or gel until you pay, despite the "all inclusive". Towels – you need to catch them or ask for them at the reception. And then only after 5 times they can come and bring it. They extort money for everything. If you ask to move, then they will tell you to pay extra. All those who have settled are required to move, they are resettled for $ 20-25, but almost all rooms are in the same condition: either the air conditioner does not work, or there is no safe, or there is no Russian TV channel, etc. Naturally, they can't just give you a hair dryer or something else. And to wipe the mirror – only by yourself, they have not been washed anywhere since the time of construction.
The dining room is a horror, dirt is everywhere, tables are wiped with a dry cloth once a month at best. Flies are all around, cats are sitting on tables on prepared appliances. The food is also "no", meat is only for dinner, and then you stand with a plate and beg. There are a lot of Arabs. This hotel is for Arabs, they collect all the dirt in their clothes, and then they climb into the pool with the children and sit there, so do not go to the pool. On the beach, they brazenly come up and put away your things or sit on them directly.
Although the beach is partially sandy, it is too small, swimming is allowed only until 18-00, probably because of safety, but the sea is clean, and the territory is quite clean and beautiful.
This 3-star hotel is also visited from the second hotel of the 2nd line (they have one owner), respectively, they also occupy sun beds. You can also use the bar. As for drinks, this is another disadvantage. Beer is always almost warm, poured into plastic stacks, not 200 ml glasses, but 100 ml. or even less, and given 2 in hand, they do not pour more at once, and in such heat you have to run around drinking drinks all the time. The choice of alcoholic beverages is small, the quality of alcohol leaves much to be desired.
I do not recommend this hotel. Take it from 5 ***** no less, otherwise the rest will be ruined.

I really liked the hotel. The location is great. The shopping center is just around the corner, the market is within walking distance. Entering the sea is generally atypical for Hurghada-three steps and chest-high. There is even a small reef with fish. Very tasty food and varied for 3*. Beef, chicken, fish every day. There are many Russians, as well as Germans, Czechs, Poles. From 10 a.m. on the beach, animators entertain, offer exercises, water aerobics. The beach chairs are wooden, you need to take a mattress, or they will be brought to you at your request. There are two sun beds under the umbrella, the screen of the fence covers from the wind. Secluded, comfortable. A bar is open on the beach from 10 a.m. 20 minutes from the hotel there is a large vegetable and fruit bazaar, where everything is available, prices are lower. When we stopped by, my wife cried all night. This is also the first time I've seen this. Dirt and old age are everywhere. The hotel was relevant 25 years ago. At the end of our stay, they began to change the tiles by the pool, hammered for 3 nights in a row, then they also began to paint, tin in general. I almost forgot, they don't wash glasses in the bar. One drank, rinsed and poured another. They poured it into a glass with traces of lipstick. After that, they used their glasses exclusively. It is difficult to evaluate it, it is beyond all ratings, a solid 1 out of 10, of all all the hotels that I have seen in 20 countries

the worst experience of my life. I have visited more than 20 countries, lived in campsites, 5* hostels, yurts in different circumstances and weather conditions. But HERE. I have no words.
Everyone wants your money from the doorstep. even if it's an all-inclusive package, the manager at the reception OPENLY asks which room you prefer - next to the beach or the pool - both start at $20. it is normal practice to give a small amount for increased comfort, but here it was like extortion. well, we haggled down to $15, expecting everything to be fine and clean (spoiler alert - NO). By the way, for two more ladies, the manager started with $10 for an upgrade, so I guess he thought if we were younger, then we were dumber. Is it a good start? :)
obviously, the 1st night was a disaster: it was cold (the fan did not work for heating), loud (people on the street sang until 3 a.m., without sound insulation), there was no water from the shower (okay, I don't count 3 drops per minute).
really “tired” rooms in general.
I forgot to mention the porter: when he helped us (in fact, we asked him not to help with the luggage, it was easy to bring it ourselves), I gave him 1 dollar. he looked at me and asked, as if he was completely offended, “WHAT?! JUST 1 DOLLAR?!”.
I was shocked and started making excuses (my mistake), for example: “we don't have any cash, we gave everything at the reception.” he asked how much we gave there (damn it, seriously, are you looking at someone else's wallet, sir?), and when I, as a child, told him “15 dollars”, he got angry and said, “WHAT? 15 for the reception and 1 for me?! I would have reacted calmly to the broken sockets (the plug just falls out of them), reacted normally to a very weak pressure in the shower, dirty towels, lack of heating (in February at night it is still needed), an old buzzing Alaska refrigerator and anything else if the room was clean. But it's VERY dirty there. I had lipstick marks on my underwear (not mine), endless foreign hair and stains of unknown origin. I had to sleep in my clothes and overcome great disgust. And also — the cherry on the cake — the tank that was located upstairs flooded into my room, the water flowed right down the walls. And I was moved to a room where there are no windows at all, only a door. In general, it's disgusting, I don't recommend it, run!
