Monument to Charles XII in the Royal Garden. Sculptor Johan Peter Mulin, 1868. Karl points to the east: "The enemy is coming from there!" The monument was built after the suppression of the Polish uprising, when anti-Russian sentiments were strong in Europe. Next to the monument is a modern composition with two hares called "The study of inhuman sexual experiences."
