The old "Confederate" synagogue is the former prayer house of the Perlov rabbis, built in 1889. After a long period of downtime and closure in 1941, the building was returned to the Jewish community in the early 2000s, renovated, and the Torah Scroll was returned in 2007. Today it is a functioning synagogue and an important monument of the spiritual heritage of the Pinsk Jews. And the fence, of course, is ridiculous.
