The temple of all the gods, according to Roman. In fact, the tomb of famous people of France has been here since 1791. It used to be the neoclassical Church of Saint Genevieve, built by architect Jacques-Germain Soufflot and Jean-Baptiste Rondelet in 1790. Voltaire, Jean-Jacques Rousseau, Napoleon's Marshal Lannes, mathematician Lagrange, Victor Hugo, Emile Zola, Marie Skladovskaya-Curie, Alexandre Dumas (father) and many others are buried here. The last burials of members of the French resistance were in 2024. I examined the resting places of these people with great respect. I also admired the Fouquet pendulum model. A wonderful memorial place! And it's beautiful.

One of the most visited places in Paris! Famous Frenchmen are buried inside. Victor Hugo and Alexandre Dumas, for example. It's downstairs. And at the top there is an active Foucault pendulum! It is better to take tickets online, there are significantly fewer people in a separate passage. The Sorbonne University is nearby, and Notre Dame de Paris is also nearby.

It is required to visit. To avoid queues at the entrance, buy a ticket online on the website. If your health allows, go up to the terrace with panoramic views - one of the best views of Paris! However, you will have to walk up the steps, there is no elevator, but the view is worth it! Dumas, Voltaire, Zola, Hugo, Curie and other famous people of France are buried here. A beautiful and majestic place.
