A memorial plaque to Sultan Baymagambetov in Kostanay is installed at 162 Baymagambetov Street, building 1. The inscription on the board reads: "Baimagambetov Sultan Birzhanovich 1920-1943 Hero of the Soviet Union. He died heroically in the Battle for Leningrad, closing the embrasure of the enemy bunker with his chest." The commander of the machine gun squad of the 147th Infantry regiment, Senior Sergeant Sultan Birzhanovich, closed the embrasure of the machine gun with his chest on July 25, 1943. Eternal glory to the hero!!!
