The Maruf Ota Friday Mosque makes a strong impression with its sincere, unruly atmosphere. There are almost no tourists here, only locals, which allows you to feel the real spirit of the place. The building looks traditional and well-groomed, the surrounding area is swept to perfection, the interior is clean and spacious. The women are given shawls and capes at the entrance, the heated floor is a pleasant surprise for a cool April, my wife appreciated it. Parking is convenient, there is enough space, the main thing is not to arrive on Friday after 12 o'clock, otherwise you will look for parking in neighboring courtyards. On the downside: there is a toilet on site, but it is more likely for locals, take wet wipes with you. I recommend stopping by if you want to see a real, non-museum Tashkent.
