The Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. It was built in 1759 on the site of a wooden church at the expense of parishioners and rector Karl Karp. It was damaged during the First World War, but restored in the interwar period by the efforts of Rector Bronislav Stefanovich, who was awarded the Order of Three Stars, Latvia's highest award, in 1936. This church was depicted in his photograph by Friend Jan Bulgak in 1929.
