Narmina is the daughter of Kamil Aliyev, a well—known artist in Azerbaijan and abroad, an honored artist and author of amazing portrait and not only carpets. The house museum is small, cozy and created by Narmina's hands with great love, which it is impossible not to feel. Narmina seems to know everything about carpets. And he tells a very interesting story. I never thought that carpets could be read like a book, that carpets had their own canon. It seems to me that every guest of Baku and its residents should visit this museum and get to know its owner.

A private museum in the center of Baku. The wonderful Narmina, the hostess, will greet you warmly, tell you about the history of carpet creation, reveal the secrets of ornaments and their secret meanings, and introduce you to her famous father, the author of portrait carpets. And then he will definitely treat you to tea and oriental sweets, and during a friendly conversation he will answer all your questions and give you good advice.

An amazing museum! Our guide in Baku advised us to visit this carpet museum instead of the grand national one, and we didn't regret a second! This is a cozy museum dedicated to the great carpet master Kamil Aliyev. You will see some of his selected masterpieces, and the tour will be conducted by Narmina, his daughter, who is herself a carpet artist. We thank Narmina, a surprisingly sincere person who will welcome you as friends and treat you to tea with local sweets. This is definitely the most unique museum experience we've had! Thank you very much, Narmina, from our whole family!

The museum is an apartment from which you will learn enough to begin to navigate the topic of carpet weaving in Azerbaijan using the example of the works of the famous master Kamil Aliyev. The level of immersion and empathy needs to be experienced personally, and the master's daughter will help you with this, who will share the details and make it so that you will feel like dear guests yourself, not tourists. You won't regret it!

A great house museum, a hospitable hostess who talks about her father's business and preserves the memory of his works. It's a real pleasure to be in such a place.

If you leave one tour in the city, then let it be it — you will get a complete picture not only of carpet weaving, but also of the culture of the country as a whole. You can just drop by to get to know Narmina. It's rare to meet a man with such glowing eyes 🙏
